  1. Never seen one that covers all the way round , is it custom or does someone know who makes it ?
  2. I had this on my tt at 400hp noise was so bad it sounded like the diff was going to fall out , going single cured it more power lol
  3. Yea I will go stock tank I just did a search someone on here sold a second hand one for 750 the rrp price was 2800! , I had a look on whifblitz Paul sells the swirl pot that bolts above the diff think I will go this route the external pump also bolts here so no fuel is run inside the car , thanks for the link mate I will have a good read through that .
  4. I am guessing the benefit of the above setup is better cooling but not sure yet seems a normal rad can hold the temps okay. Yea MSA/FIA like you I will try to aim to keep to the regs as its not a bad thing to do I guess, thanks for that I am guessing one could mount everything in the spare wheel well and then plate it off and this would be a firewall ?.
  5. Sorry to see this I hope you get it sorted soon mate , I am thinking about something like the rad setup on this track supra below . Also been meaning to ask you is having the fuel pump/lines in the boot approved ?I was looking through Steve's L build and his swirl pot and lines were mounted above the diff not sure what to do on my build. http://img211.imageshack.us/img211/6863/dz58.jpg
  6. Nice video that , here is one similar views
  7. Does anybody know when the plug and play version is coming out ?
  8. Where are you sending the prop to ?
  9. Same could be said for single owners to TT sod what others think long as you are happy . I just took my 6spd 622hp single out my aero and replaced with a 5spd na some might say I am mad but this way it allows me to keep both a track supra and the aero. I did look into getting a TT to put my car back to original spec but the problem is it does not stop there the TT turbos are of that age now most will need replacing or refurb £1500 and near enough every tt I’ve seen needs or has had the valve stem seals need doing another £1000 as you will replace other things while you are there. I took the aero out at the weekend cruised down the motorway at 90+ with the roof off and windows down and could not help but think maybe the na is not all that bad yea it is slow and I would not bother to race anyone in it but it’s such a more pleasant drive for one the 5spd gearbox is silky smooth compared to the John Deere 6spd also I don’t have to worry about turbo seals etc or have any gauges for bpu egt and so on also my license might last a bit longer not to mention I spent most of time avoiding pot holes on a dual carriageway the roads are in such a state not sure doing high speed is really that sensible anymore .
  10. Anyone know what the front upper wishbone bush size is for pre facelift got two options either 38mm or 20mm?
  11. wow nice work , only thing I would say would the air filiter not get wet where it is located ?
  12. No worries Gaz , looking good mate facelift indicators ftw
  13. Hey Rich it could be prop if it was cut and shut thinking about it, don't count me on the doh nut would have to check with Toyota mine is the same hope you get it sorted soon .
  14. Hey mate you got that bumper painted yet
  15. I bet its the diff what lsd is it ? Reco prop will balance and sort out the joint if needed for not allot of money, I need a new doh nut aswell although I think I read on here you can not buy them spreate only comes with a new prop.
  16. I was 19 I remember back then there was only 4-7 supras for sale on autotrader I picked up a 5spd na for £7500! it cost me around £1600 with my parents added as named drivers , but seriously try halifax car insurance its via sabre as my misses is 22 and she drives a skyline and its costing her £1000 a year with 4years ncd.
  17. here http://www.dent-technique.co.uk ,then stop doing cottaging in your garage:)
  18. Nice not sure if you know but you need to allow loads of time I would leave early as poss you will get a better place on the track and avoid some of the traffic , I got the aero in on soft top sunday and I live 2miles away and it took me a hour at 8am apparently super car sunday is even worse for traffic I will keep a eye out for your sup
  19. Hi Gaz thanks for the kind comments mate ,it was nice to meet you today. I'll keep a eye out for the finished sprayed pictures
  20. For the power your looking for 600? you wouldn't need the cams and adjustable cam pulleys ,I am on stock cams and made 622hp I remember JP made 630 on stock cams too, for a fraction of the cost of cams I would do a inlet manifold mine is a eBay copy get the ports matched and welded onto the runners with a q45 when I got mine mapped Ryan runs no boost to begin with he said the inlet is working between 20-30hp .I wish I'd left mine BPU as others have said its a blast being single but the supra just seems its best at tt bpu with the £££ put in I wish I'd bought a set of new twins or had them refreshed, and syvecs and make the best out off bpu still a very fast car and it would go to the end of the earth and back without any worries.
  21. No worries mate I didn't give anything for it so its only the right thing to do and looks like you could do with it , this is the bumper before being rubbed down,
  22. Sorry to see that I'd be livid ,I've got a do luck 2 front never fitted to one of my cars I've offered it up though seems good fit it has under tray it's been rubbed down so looks a mess also it has the intercooler pipe holes cut but have been now filled back over its not in black but you can have it if its any good
  23. Just pulling your leg John we need you really
  24. LOL pmsl ! don't tell me his next mod will be a polished alloy cafeta bag linked up to a defi gauge with a warning light
