  1. you could sell the rims and buy another set , not sure if your car is road legal or not if not how about looking for slicks to fit they might do them in the right size.
  2. Ah yea you are going to have trouble then with that size , what power are you running ?.
  3. 255 40 on a 9 up front is fine , the rear 315 for a 10j is pushing it okay for a road car but for track id stick with the optimum tyre size for a 10j is 295 fitting a oversized tyre on a rim does not mean its going to handle better just because its wider in fact it will handle worse due to the balloon effect on the sidewalls
  4. My misses said it's not how you stand by your car it's how you race your car LOL I won though although now my road supra is a na and she has moved on to a skyline I get a pasting http://img825.imageshack.us/img825/3591/zx8k.jpg http://img594.imageshack.us/img594/6443/3o9u.jpg
  5. come to think about it I remember seeing the flipper on vj's car down at yours now Baldy but this was ages ago! how long has vj's car been at SRD ?
  6. nice work srd and its pretty quick that as for being legal it could be worse I saw this on youtube the other day
  7. looking good mate , out of interest where did you get the prop balanced ?
  8. Driftworks sell those wisefab kits there is a video of it on a supra, I am going super pro its what Steve L used and he did time attack and euro salons I guess I am in no rush though on the wait as the car is not ready I am getting megan racing adjustable toe and traction arms, for me unless I was in a serious timed competition event spending 3-4k on arms is not worth it to gain probably a few extra seconds if lucky off a lap time
  9. 1,550 kg is the offical figure , which is close my aero came in at 1590kg when it was on the mot rollers
  10. Okay thanks I will check the ecu for fault codes. Where is the solenoid located ?
  11. Okay cheers I think it was a 5wire one but maybe 1 or 2 wires did not get used I will have to check now, interesting it feels just as light at 60 as it does at 140 and I am running 255's on the front and it feels like I could be steering a push bicycle wheel its really off putting, do you know where I would find pas electric valve located ?
  12. Cheers I will look into this I know my speedo convertor is on the gearbox , anyone know how I can test diagnose for sure ?
  13. I've always found the pas on the supra to light over a ton its like a feather I have no real feel what is going on , is there any way of adjusting it?
  14. Nice car , it would break for good money
  15. Post 26 here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?136136-NA-to-TT-engine-transplant-step-by-step-guide-(Pic-heavy)/page2
  16. LOL to many reasons which would probably get this thread locked , I have heard though Ed always has a packet of Haribo's to hand in the car
  17. Edd I like the fact you've given it a go but I think it does not suit you’re lush sup just maybe the pedo bear on the cap would be fine though
  18. Id rather have his truck and trailer with kitchen and a toilet ! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-F350-TRUCK-TRAILER-/130926098505?pt=UK_Commercial_Trucks&hash=item1e7bcdb849#ht_2454wt_1141
  19. Cheers , might of been I live in Chichester you close to Chi ?
  20. dam , that must of taken ages! best I have seen though .
  21. LOL thanks Gaz , great news! I expect to see finished and fitted photos soon then
  22. I've been a bit slack but the aero is back on the road so swapped engine ,swapped all suspension arms, swapped the whole rear end diff prop driveshafts, front and rear big brakes swapped for stock na,speedo clock as the na has a different ratio. Before putting the na engine in I fitted a brand new clutch and stock flywheel new plugs ,oil, water, cam cover seals, new belts, all the usual stuff so it should be sweet for awhile, there is one problem though the pedal on the far right seems to now do naff all . As for the track shell I have de stickered it , fitted a boot lid with inner skin cut away and holes cut for aerocatches, glass also removed ready for a lexan window. Also replaced the rear bumper and front wings as the ones from the na I broke are in good nick so saves on bodyshop time . Ive bought upper and lower super pro bushes for the front arms the bottom ones having the custom camber adjustment soon as these arrive ill bolt my arms up on the front then onto the back Ive bought megan racing adjustable toe and traction arms the rest of the rear end I will super pro. When it arrives I will get pics and update . http://img850.imageshack.us/img850/2351/42l.jpg http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/9749/eccv.jpg
  23. lol it would not be for the track build Ive stolen my apr carbon one for that but now there is a nasty gap on my aero engine bay I do like this one it even covers up the rad mounts
