  1. Glad you got it back , is the independent saying there was radiator brackets before on previous inspection and now they are missing ? What is holding the radiator in place now ? Also depending how overfilled the oil is if its allot drain some out.
  2. Glad you got it sorted, although the time it has taken is a crazy and seems to be a test drive for every job carried out which would worry me they are not confident in what they are doing all the jobs should be sorted and one test drive at the end not 3-4 I hope you checked they have proper insurance to be driving your car around this much and not 3rd party only.

    written off

Agree with Tyson check the underside , not sure if its a auto or manual but if its auto and it was in park and with the handbrake up that's taken some force

Sorry to see this ,Id let them write it off get the best top price you can argue you want another if you can find other UKs up for sale or recently sold send them the adverts , if you argue with them it's repairable it will end up being a cat C / D or N and S now and resale value down the line wont be great , not to mention some of it might pull out but your going to end up with a load of filler or a new rear quarter and I hope the body shop has the skills to put it right or you could end up with a dog and then there's the hassle of the paint not matching the rest of the car
  5. Got aftermarket bonnet pins already this must be from something else ?
  6. Yea probably spot on I am hoping they still go hybrid with it, apparently there are lots of bolt holes all over the chassis and body so sounds like allot of TRD parts will be available wont have to wait long soon as its released top secret ,rocket bunny, apr, all the big names will start doing kits as well its going to be interesting.
  7. Mk3 owners probably said the same about the Mkiv it only has 40hp more and they want nearly 50k for it , technology moves on it will calm down soon as its released and tuners start doing bpu packages and company's like sard and apr start doing aero bits, I cant wait to see one with a set of ssr's lowered with a apr spoiler I think it will look the business . I am pretty sure I read on here a long time ago branners owns http://www.mkvsupra.net so when is that going live!
  8. LOL 2nd that and booked in at SRD for 500hp the same week Are there any dates for the GRMN version ?
  9. Tada did say the diff would be something new, from that link ric posted "eight-speed paddleshift auto and an active differential (an e-motor wind the diff’s ratio up and down via a reduction gear)”
  10. And it handles like a boat just a big v8 that’s about it and a fully spec one weights 1800kg , Tada said supra is just under 1500kg, given the below should be very well balanced and good handling and we all know bpu on turbo engines gives good results so probably will see it over 400hp anyway. So 50/50 weight body as rigid as a LFA lower centre of gravity than a gt86 weight adjustable steering Gearbox shift settings adaptive damper settings electric diff ratio control settings
  11. Fully spec that's cheap for a brand new car allot of people on here expected 60-70k ? So few years old they will be in the 40's not bad considering people are asking 30-35k for a 24 year old supra with no doubt worn suspension and rust etc .I take it these will have the Toyota 5 year standard warranty as well. Does anyone know what engine code it has? Some of these N series engines are forged from bmw crankshaft connecting rods and mahle supplied the pistons, going to be interesting when someone does bpu on the first supra.
  12. So your saying it’s going to unrealible before anyone’s owned one ? I think it’s better two big manufacturers joining forces there’s only 4 interchangeable parts on the whole car between the supra and z5, bmw make some fast, good handling and reliable cars so it’s not like they teamed up with Skoda! We haven’t even seen it without the camo or had the final specs and there is a GRMN version to look forward to down the line and yet it’s slagged off ,I think for some unless they started remaking the mkiv it’s never going to be good enough.
  13. In that link ric posted “eight-speed paddleshift auto and an active differential (an e-motor wind the diff’s ratio up and down via a reduction gear)”
  14. Sorry to read all of this mate. I did say Dyno tuner aka bells autos you would of been far better with a skyline specialist that do skylines everyday and his dad paints in the workshop next door they could of done it all . I wouldn't let hidden touch the car get a inspection from bells and a quote to repair then if its hidden's fault chase them legally to pay but to be honest Richards prices are so good and you probably just want this sorted it could be the cheapest way out of this mess especially if its your daily. I obviously wouldn't keep driving it with that noise you could do more damage!
  15. Nice I had a feeling Tada would not let us down, 50k that's cheaper than everyone was expecting isn't it GRNM version probably be more expensive but new at 50k if they stick to mass producing these as they said then this could be interesting. So 50/50 weight body as rigid as a LFA lower centre of gravity than a gt86 weight adjustable steering dct shift settings adaptive damper settings electric diff ratio control settings and lots of holes in the chassis/body for what I guess probably TRD parts galore Its a good start for sure and at least part prices for the mk5 / TRD parts will be back to a normal price can get a TRD steering wheel brand new for a gt86 for £430
  16. I guess it's even easier now there's no tax disc to forge or copy , before they might of got pulled for something minor and the plod would notice the tax disc
  17. I like those rims. Defiantly on the spoiler I guess when it's out companies like APR /SARD/ Top secret etc will all do bits for it , trd might even do one.
  18. Hello mate hope all is well , this cant be to bad 6266, trd body candy red paint ,hre wheels just needs a manual conversion 34k ono https://www.ebay.com/itm/1994-Toyota-Supra/132716676431?hash=item1ee687c54f:g:JoAAAOSwGThbVzi8&vxp=mtr
  19. Who's saying they wont ? GRMN version will be the one hybrid battery power with no doubt the newer 450hp m3 engine with the dct, in a car that tada has already confirmed is as rigid as a LFA , 50/50 weight and lower centre of gravity than a gt86! And weights less than a mkiv
