Just try it for a bit its only a 10min job to remove it with the box fitted in the car, does it have the reverse lock out like the stock shifter ?
-
r34gtr still holding strong money ,rare to find a stock one even with the release of the r35 prices did not move and wont move with the r36 release if you have a stock low mileage or a nur /vspec 2 I can only see prices going up

LOL you do crack me up I think you have scared Ed off the forum he's probably even had to change his name , ps just noticed Forum bellend did a mod do that ?
-
and for a moment I thought you were talking about Ed again

I wouldn't run it I remember the driftworks owner stop selling these he put up a post where he said he knew of at least 4 engines blowing due to the bee r also similar posts on the skyline forum

LOL talking of Ed have you let him out yet ? Yours will be a cracker once its finished ,I couldn't let it go for 17k I know you don't get back what you put in a car but I've done more than that in invoices from Toyota and just traders on here ,still first time I have had doubts I will probably be alright next week

chazuk replied to Kaan W's topic in mkiv Supra Projects
I bet you can't wait the end is near mental build I guess it will have to be done on a hub dyno the torque and power this thing will pump out will just spin up on the rollers ? -
thanks everyone for the kind comments

Haha I will let the picture do the talking My only fear with the GTR is grip grip and more grip could be fun for awhile but get very boring I won't be making a quick decision done that before with another car and still regret it today the prices the yanks pay I should start collecting bit's for a lhd conversion lol - - - Updated - - -

Nice John crazy though I bet that's a very fast car as it is and still useable power

Thanks for the all the kind comments everyone and the price guidance lol it was just a thought always fancied a gtr or a r34gtr if I do Cheers Chris I was fearing your comment the most This is my main fear this is my 4th supra I always keep coming back Graham stop pm me no amount of sexual favours will suffice Never recorded it I was so tempted to stick a 4"dp and 4"cat back but I just love how the rsr sits on a supra I will get a clip soon Cheers well if we believe Japan and I am always sceptical of any import when imported it had 42km then between myself and andy it now has 102km

Firstly I will say sorry I hate these treads but I have been toying with the idea of selling up what would mine be worth as a guide? Brief bit of history I bought the car from Andy C on here back in 2008 it was pretty much a stock TT gz aero it had alloys and a brand new rsr exhaust. Andy imported the car in 2000 I have the documentation for that, in his 8years of ownership he had it serviced by a Toyota specialist and only used it as a weekend garaged toy for use in the dry months. I also have only used the car as weekend toy and it’s garaged it never sees the rain unless I get caught out in it so the underside is mint. It has wanted for nothing and I have a box file stuffed full of receipts for everything along with full history from myself and Andy. This will get people going , I find it hard to tell when full boost is made easier to figure out with the boost/afr graph but no one seems to upload these as much as it also shows the rear wheel power which is allot less than flywheel print out. Apparently on a RR and on the street it can spool slightly different but not by much people still swear by the best way to measure is via a hub dyno, lots of people will say you want it early as possible although 3700-4000k is still a good range for a big single the spool times are getting lower but it does produce even more traction issues although with a ecu such as a syvecs the torque can be trimmed and run lower boost in first etc. Not sure I know it can be done very easily can also be done unintentional a car running crazy hp on rollers trying to run it in 1:1 ratio 4th on a supra it just spins up maybe resolved by running in 5th but its a overdrive and will alter the true reading, and I did know of someone that had their reading fiddled with as it was so close to the next round number but not by anyone on here or supra related was back in my skyline days how to tell I don't know but I doubt anyone on here would be into that neither would any of the mappers on here.

nice result that as lux said max torque by 4300rpm very nice
-
Nice result that , what boost was that at ?

Looks like the supra will be back in fast and furious 7 :)

I thought it was meant to be this supra -
My misses just fitted some federal 595 rs-r to her skyline for a cheap tyre it has a crazy load of grip I would say as good as my pilot sports it also has good ratings on scooby/evo forums, federal say it's based on a track day tyre though so not sure about wear life yet but they are cheap from tyre leader a 265/35/18 is £92

Brake Pads Performance Friction, Poterfield or Ferodo
chazuk replied to chazuk's topic in Supra Chat
I forgot about them as well until I did some searching slightly more pricey than the PF and Porterfield's though Interesting to know are these the pads you use on the track and in the 01 compound? just been on parts box fronts are £335 rears are £201 -
What wheels are you looking at ?

Brake Pads Performance Friction, Poterfield or Ferodo
chazuk replied to chazuk's topic in Supra Chat
Least it's not just me with ebc I used to have red stuff in one of my old cars and that seemed okay but this blue stuff is seriously bad. Car is only used for road so sounds like the r4s pad would you guys recommend r4s in the rears as well ? -
I am looking for some new pads for my ksport fronts and kad rears as I need to chuck my blue ebc's away as they are shocking . I tried CW fast road pads but unfortunately Chris was unable to help with pads for these . So it seems to be between Performance friction ,Porterfield,or Ferodo DS2500 .anyone got any advice and which compound should I be looking at?. I am not after a race pad that is dangerous when cold but I need it to pull up a few times from silly speed without fade .
