  1. I have noticed lift on mine it worried me at first but I just ignore it now. I think aero catches suit certain cars but on a stock bonnet /stock looking car it just does not look right . For peace of mind I replaced the whole latch/cable assembly with new Toyota parts. I did think about some sort of better safety catch maybe a clip chain, I know the bonnet would still bend being alloy but cheaper than it hitting the windscreen and roof.   4. a full 3.5 turbo back is on my list one day , whip it up to MIJ exhaust drive in drive out service they did my old mans track car the welds and workmanship is spot on a fully custom exhaust right down to the baffles and size/shape of the back box I got a quote years ago for a 4" from the turbo back £1000 includes making any mounting points you want ,flexi sections and custom back box. They would probably do a down pipe and midpipe for £300-400 worth a ask
  5. I wouldn't risk it mate ,a few have had the bonnet come up the damage it will do is not good. I replaced both hinges, new joining block and the long cable to inside the car from memory it all came under £80-90 from Toyota was a few years ago though

Logs are easy to get off just keep re watching Ryans video they are great, I find the log over writes fairly quick so ull need to pull the log off fairly soon after it cuts out or avoid boost after so it does not start logging again , if you connect up to the syvecs in scal device errors whats it showing in there ?

  8. That's probably because people running 30k r34gtrs are more likely able to afford to have it sorted welded covered than those with 4k gts-t's. I am afraid It's all the skyline range cheap metal compared to the supra .I heard 2009 r35 gtr under tray bolts snap off so will be interesting to see how the new gtr holds up for rust when its 15-20years old . I used to be into skyline's before the supra saw so many r34's being sorted for rust down at the tuner and that was some years ago, the strut tops and inside the inner rear arches behind the rear seat side panels,around the rear lights on the boot lid and up underneath by the rear spats can be shocking but the outside looks top notch.

  10. Agreed, it is such a shame though what a car they were half the price I would probably have one and put up with the above but near on r35 money its a no brainer really
  11. I've always wanted a r34gtr since I was at school , they do rust mate make sure you check it over you say the r35 is out of your budget but think you still have to pay £24-30k for a r34 I have seen r35's at 30-33k ?

  14. If it was not for the terrorists the door into the cockpit could of been kicked down quite easy before 9/11 didn't they just have the same lock at the plastic toilet doors , heard on the radio today some airlines are now not allowing 1person to be left in the cockpit
