  1. True that , but I think he is looking from a brake fade point of view which is where these would way out do a steel setup not to mention 50% lighter unspring weight. I would not run a race carbon setup they probably would not stop at all when cold but carbon brakes like from the Audi which have been made for a road car I wouldn't see the problem with it.
  2. These are bigger 4k cheaper and could easily get some brackets made up http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Original-Audi-RS4-B8-RS5-Carbon-Ceramic-Brakes-380x38mm-/281735743691?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4198c248cb

    Aem mapping.

lol well I hope it lasts you can but only give it go , we never raced it's a shame I didn't have it long enough for this m23 race but I reckon one of you will bottle it anyway
  4. did you run a probe before and after the gasket ? I found the original thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?253534-how-do-you-monitor-intake-temps-thermal-gaskets-any-good/page2

    Aem mapping.

. I would take anything the yanks say with a pinch of salt along with their HP readings . Didn't someone blow their auto box on here swapped it for another one and killed that in 6weeks , then again Lee drives like miss daisy it will probably last
  6. I think this has been covered before pretty sure Chris Wilson said something along the lines of the speed and the volume of air flow these would do pretty much naff all
  7. You will be at the speed you drive
  8. Just saying that's what fixed it for me, it could of been the rear arms I changed , but gearbox mount and engine mounts would effect it if there is to much movement you would be surprised how much a engine/box move under load
  9. lol in this video he smashes a r35gtr round brands

    Lag

Johnny had smaller rear housings than yours that is were the most gain will be
  11. chazuk

    Lag

I think people get far to caught up in dbb/billet/gen2 etc on the street the noticeable difference is naff all from a journal bearing it just means you can not put billet ,dbb,gen2 in your signature, only have to looks at James with his gen 1 journal 6266 and the result from that also saw a thread on supraforums saying the same thing think it only really came into any difference worth noticing on the large frame turbos
  12. I had wheel hop really bad so changed from stock engine mount and gearbox mount to the vibratechnics ,fitted megan rear traction and toe arms and it never did it again I reckon it was the engine mount/gearbox mounts though
  13. Looks great mate , did they gave any details away about the ft1 ?
  14. what cams and fmic you going for ?
  15. blimey prices are on the increase I paid £485 about 18months ago
  16. I have run a 295 on that offset and it sat perfect , love the wheels jackyboi defiantly going to need a pull on the arch or camber pretty sure glanza mike runs the same size offset and width and he's running a 275
  17. I had a 4" BL tried it but sold it much prefer the noise of my 3" rsr more raspy and no drone what so ever on supraforums the flow of the rsr was well up there they reckon due to the straight design probably why I achieved okay power numbers considering it's a 3" . All singles with 4" sound the same to me, having said that I did start making up some custom 4" back boxes a few years ago that slipped over any 4" pipe first one went on JP's black beast crazy loud , louder than the BL /HKS the second one baldy has and still running.
  18. Looks very nice mate so the ft1 will be the new supra then I wonder if they will keep the name as the FT just stands for future Toyota, is there any details price release date etc ?
  19. Nice one I look forward to seeing the video of that
  20. even more entertaining when they get it wrong as long as it's not your car they hit.I know what you mean it reminds me of what I used to do when I was 18 not sure I could be arsed with all that now, Ryan should change the anti lag default cal name to the "innit bruv" cal as I have not seen anti lag used properly yet apart from sitting in a car park
  21. some nice supra's in the vid , the guy in the bmw will come unstuck pretty soon people don't think of the consequences there is no room for error with cars parked either side I bet this guy in the r33 had a brown pants moment notice the guy with the baseball bat
  22. Stop being Nando's number 1 customer
  23. Go to the right body shop 20 year old paint is well..looking 20 years old , most have had touch up's over the years which is to be expected with stone chips etc and most bumpers do not match especially the red's and the slivers then you have a patchwork paint job. Baldy re-sprayed mine and I have never looked back no cover up's he took 200pictures including before middle and after I could not recommended him enough.
  24. wow they look great! what size and offset you go for?
  25. No the prop pulls apart in two front and rear if you separated it don't forget you will need to get it rebalanced
