  1. Shame it's 12" if it was 12.5 I would of had it
  2. thanks mate , I seem to have sorted it although it was showing as free space I just deleted 200 odd messages and it appears to be working again
  3. "Sorted so please ignore this now" I don't seem to be receiving pm's. I have also sent a test pm and that does not have seem to have sent ,lots of free space. Cheers Chaz

    Hks F-con

far better off with a power fc just about every tuner can map one , ryan did mine it was a great standalone plug and play ecu for very little money
  6. Its the flywheel had one on mine hated it sounded like bag of nuts and bolts and yes in neutral up to around 2k rpm it would still rattle, I switched back to a new stock dmf and no more rattling .
  7. I bought one for mine new came with instructions which did not work at all so I called them I was promised a call back from a technical guy nothing I ended up using the diagram for the Thor one and it worked fine did you get the little loom with it as it should clip into the bottom of the unit https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=supra+speedo+converter+wiring+diagram&biw=1600&bih=754&tbm=isch&imgil=ecC26vaGeWVByM%253A%253B5s4GtMDcnyO-hM%253Bhttp%25253A%25252F%25252Fwww.mkivsupra.net%25252Fvbb%25252Farchive%25252Findex.php%25252Ft-112141.html&source=iu&pf=m&fir=ecC26vaGeWVByM%253A%252C5s4GtMDcnyO-hM%252C_&usg=__HcGpJ3FAfUtDPDT9fGpXKJiQYHw%3D&ved=0CDwQyjdqFQoTCLiKhYSElccCFcwqHgode5kA3Q&ei=BaDDVfjzM8zVePuygugN#imgrc=ecC26vaGeWVByM%3A&usg=__HcGpJ3FAfUtDPDT9fGpXKJiQYHw%3D
  8. I wouldn't bother going single with a aim of 500bhp might as well go bpu+ 450hp I would put money on a bpu running 450hp vs a 500hp single botched together that the bpu would be a better car if not faster in quarter mile. I don't see the point of fitting a 2nd hand decent turbo ,manifold, waste gate then to just throttle it down running a stock ecu and small injectors and a piggy back .I know a few people just like the noise and to worried about everywhere flat out but surely you would end up sticking a standalone on it decent injectors and use it to the full potential?
  9. finally mate we need more PIC's stop teasing me
  10. nice one mate now I know your always good for a speedo video .....
  11. get OS giken it's better than the TRD , had one in mine the racing version spec x adjustable and even that was smooth as anything but 100%lock http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?300906-TRD-vs-OS-Giken-Diff
  12. just thinking investment mate not to cruise around in got to be 100%stock though I wonder if you can still buy a original exhaust new from toyota
  13. Good spot the rest of the car looks UK spec though ? pre facelift rear lights are cheap new from Toyota to put it back to original
  14. That's because in the US all they are interested in is drag racing how often do you use brakes I went out in JP's black beast you seriously would not want to be running stock UK's on a big HP car and drive like he does. All I know is what I gained from personal experience with UK's as I said before even if stopping distance does not improve the point in which they fade would be different ,if stock brakes are so good surely company's like brembo ,ap,ksport, kad, stoptech, would be out of business by now. Why would the bias be any different to the brembo 14" kit that mvp sell for 4k which look like the same calipers? I am pretty sure brembo did not make a one off caliper for a supra its the same one that's fitted to the AMG's as well, mvp do not sell it with a bias controller so who is to say that is the same as the stock bias?
  15. Totally stock by the looks of it apart from a cat back exhaust with full service history anyone know the car? thinking could be a good investment piece service it and put it in the back of the garage and leave it at this price could even do a 6spd conversion for 3,500k but would that damage the re-sale price as it wouldn't be original? http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/supra/toyota-supra-93-turbo-----------------1995/4290236
  16. I had UK's for awhile I am not sure why people rate them so much they are no good for a properly sorted single. I found them rubbish so have a few other members I have spoken to yes I know the stopping distance might not be improved but they don't fade anywhere near as quick .I could get massive brake fade with a couple of stops from 170 down to 40 ish 2-3 times and they were done had decent pads and decent fluid, supra is fairly heavy mine came in at 1690kg, Christ you see bigger brakes on 3litre audi diesels these days if doing it again I think the bargain kit is that brembo 14" kit front and rear setup off the guy in America for 2k the one mike glanza had recently fitted in his thread.
  17. I can not comment on a 40profile on the front but just remembered I also run a set of rota boost's for a little while 18x9j et30 and a 18x10j et35 rear with 255/35/18 and 295/35/18 and it never rubbed, the enkei offsets are then these 42rear and 38front springs to mind so pretty sure you will be okay.
  18. Yes run it on a set of 19's same offset as the enkei's and it was fine 255front and 295 rear ,the rear arches are rolled aswell so loads of room plus the enkeis are not over aggressive at 42 offset on the rear
  19. Hello Pete, the front's are 9j rears are 10j you could run 255/35/18 front and a 295/35/18 rear
  20. It's the discs that are 50% lighter
  21. Yea good point I guess track days are 15-25min sessions with 5-10laps these are probably overkill when a decent brembo or ap kit is more than enough
