If you look at ams performance and real street both well known reputable tuners they are already in low 11s and the guy from real street in their video said 100% the car will be in the 10s within a month so yea I don’t think it’s fake, going to be interesting when they try the next size up turbo from stock which is on the cards next

There is a TRD spoiler , interesting about the engines as others have said BMW gained allot from this and will no doubt rip it off and use in other M series allot of yanks have issues pushing over 500whp due to manifold heat and it seems Toyota have water cooled the manifold so that's one problem taken care of

I have been on the mkv forum and they do have a point everyone forgets what a true stock mkiv looks like and are comparing the new supra to modified mkiv's even if that just includes a rmn lip and lowered its not stock vs stock Was interesting to see the amount of interest in the car on there and a poll that showed the highest amount of potential buyers don't own a mkiv . I thought this was pretty piss poor someone in the UK got a letter from Toyota to say sorry we overbooked on orders and you wont get the special launch edition but we will give you 2 years free service plan and guest at goodwood I can see a TS bonnet looking nice on the new supra

But you can understand why Nissan to this day still wont say if the R35 if profitable , many car journalists say the production costs of something so technical and all that time with it in the wind tunnel is not cheap they would have to be sold at around 140k to make profit which kind of makes sense when you see the price of a car that every part has been built from scratch with that much tech, the only thing that might of saved the day the r35 is a hit although I remember when it first came out it was slagged off to death on the gtr forum people saying its not a skyline and its ugly and the last real gtr was a r34 that all seems long forgotten about now. Some sort of aerotop model would be cool but doubt it will happen

So bmw tweaked the map to give them .2 of second quicker I guess from there point of view it's their engine although a bit of a kick for Toyota, I also read the z4 will have a manual option later . So the supra is the same price as a new cayman s with the pdk a manual slightly cheaper at 53 but does seems crazy a m2 comp is cheaper and with 410hp but again the cayman with 60hp less beat the m2 comp ring time by 12 seconds . Wont have to wait long people will soon get the new supra and if a simple map tune and exhaust and filter get 450hp it will be interesting

Agreed I said that earlier it should of had the m3 engine but we will have to wait and see what other variants come out Not saying that I was replying to someone that said the engine is not tuneable Litchfield are well known company and to take it from 355 to 435 without anything else but a map I think is good, as for the car HP for HP the stock mkiv was 325bhp so yea its not gained allot stock for stock but the gear shifting will be quicker, the handling will be better and its lighter so it has to be taken into consideration and that's why a crappy cayman s with 345hp can do the ring in 7min 45 faster than a rcf with 477hp

I think the only thing that will save them is different versions a bit like a na and tt just this as the base then release this grnm version. Although sometimes its not all about power it's about handling and power to weight take the rcf gt3 ring time 8.00 , compare that to something that is similar spec to the new supra 918 cayman s that has 345hp and 310ft torque went round the ring at 7min 45sec , or compare that to a m3 f80 cs that did it in 7.38 453hp and 444ft torque

I think the exterior styling is spot on a good base to start with a nice set of ssr sp1's and lowered , the interior I agree with others to much bmw parts bin they should of at least designed their own heater controls and gearbox shifter. The engine should of been the f80 m3 engine and I know Tada says there is a more powerful version the grmn to come but is that 100% who knows , the price id never buy a new car anyway does not matter what you buy it's lost around 10% the moment it leaves the forecourt so it will be interesting 2-3 years the second hand price and will grey imports appear

I think the 37k was for a NA , TT 6 were close to 50k new . The leaked photo looks great cant wait to see it in black or white paint there's allot of ft1 still in it which is good to see . I think the looks of the car are going to be spot on I can picture a top secret bonnet on that or a maybe they will do a trd ,some people in the thread still moaning about the price the mkiv was nearing 50k new for a TT 6 25years ago this one is around the same price will wait to see what the tuners can do and what bpu does for it, and if Tada is still saying a grmn version is likely to come with more power then all the better.
