As you know James, I was sooo close It's funny (fete) that after it had been for sale for a year you did a deal a couple of days before I PM'd you. Nice (compact) meet and the weather was OK too. Can't belive there isn't more locals who want to have a pubgrub in the area, it's worth the drive to watch Tigger demolish a monster creamy, chocy, pudding that's almost as big as her Sorry I had to "split", was in the middle of a house move, but did get it done (just) late last night. Lets see if we can get a bigger one in April (17th ?) that's meet, not pud, Tigger Cheers G

You may have seen bits on the TV, but there will be a huge bike ride through Wootten Bassett Wiltshire tomorrrow to pay respects to the fallen troops in Afganistan and raise money for Afganheroes: http://www.afghanheroes.org.uk/content.asp?c=1 They thought it would be a few hundred when they first talked about it, but with about a month to go they had to cap the entries at 10,000 ! They may well be over that number as my pass is stamped No. 11,478 ! Meeting some mates to ride up there in the morning - any other bikers from here going ? G

You should have done a runner Raced through the town at 70 in a 40, jumped a few red lights, scared a few old ladies and ditched the car down a back alley before being caught. Thay way you might have been let of with just the fine or a caution (stiff talking at) as so many seem to on these Police-Stop-Action type progs. G

Supe just passed MOT Legal again, new MOT, new tyres, will love driving it even more now Lift is on if you wish Promise to drive carefully (as always) G

Took the car in for new tyres (ouch) and an MOT today. I know I have a couple of issues that I'm hoping 1) they don't find, 2) they ignoor, or 3) they can fix quickly ! They have a couple of days so it should be fine. If not, it'll be the Civic if wet, or the bike if dry (so long as I can find somewhere safe to park my helmet) Would prefer the Supe though as it will be great to be "legal" again G
