  1. Soo knows who her "Boss" is... (please God don't let Soo see this this)
  2. I've got Angel Eyes in mine which are on when the lights are on, they have "driving lights" in the centre, but I've not used them yet. You see all types & positions of driving lamps though. If they are illegal, at least it would take Mr Policemans eyes away from my Number Plate G
  3. That's OK - it's like me
  4. Thought the trailer look good... Did I see a 28 Days Later (2) trailer a few weeks ago (something like 28 Weeks Later etc) as I thought the first one was really good.
  5. Rick... Katie is the "Warminster Cars" (along with us). Katie... As there may be a couple of us do you want to meet at our place - if so I'll post up directions / post code. Our old Supra is also threatening to turn up ! Cheers G
  6. Yes.. looks really nice with all the lighting that they do, took some vid of the jet-car, not looked at it yet but I fear that it might be a bit jumpy as I was trying to stop my ears bleeding whilst filming Re The Boss, think his tightness comes from his poor upbringing in deepest darkest Yorkshire, where they had just whippet meat to eat except from Sundays when they had leg of ferret. On the other hand, he does give us bank Holidays off if we're lucky and Soo says he's good in bed
  7. Like it... Shame you can't join us but have a great day (sadly the boss of our company is far to tight to send us anywhere)
  8. Pity Jon... I wasn't sure as I had a full days jobs around the house / garden to do really (and was playing all day today) but then thought "sod it" all the jobs will still be there next weekend and it's the last Pod of 2007 ! Are you going to Chippenham next Saturday ? G
  9. Guess that was a "no" then Had a great afternoon & evening, saw some very fast runs including the jet bike who crossed the line in just over 5 secs. Jet cars, Rocket cars, Top fuel cars and some showy stuff as well. Best of all I parked just inside the entrance so when the fireworks finished we had a ten minute walk and then just drove staight out - easy Saw only one other Supe, silver with big spoiler parked near the fun fair "was it you" ? It was attracting lots of attention photo's etc. Had a nice play for 20 minutes with a black Carerra 4 who was, unusually for a Porche driver, giving it some welly ! Sounded really sweet... Great day...
  10. Went last year and had a great day which was spoiled by taking about 11/2 hours to get out of the place (and I think we were lucky) ! Wasn't going to go today but the weather down here is really nice, my change my mind and go. If so I'll try to move the car nearer to the exit mid-afternoon. Anybody else going ? http://www.santapod.co.uk/e_flame.php Cheers G
  11. Sorry folks.... won't be there tomorrow (may be going to Pod depending on the weather). Looking at the Calendar, could be a small one Cheers G & S
  12. You are welcome to tag onto our Warminster convoy (well we can usually muster two Supra's if you call that a convoy) Cheers G

  14. Sorry - always forget about this ... done
  15. No... it's one of his manuals PS... Thanx Colin, only up to page 1,065
  16. Hi Chris... So is there an advantage to having 3" de-cat pipes over 2.5" if you are putting in a restrictor ring anyway ? Cheers G
  17. Great that you are making the effort to come up There should be some guys in Devon that could pick you up on the way ? See you in a couple of weeks... G
  18. Gerry

    Office smells?

Well I am getting on a bit... ................. Proverb for the over 70's " Never trust a fart"
  19. Gerry

    Office smells?

My office sometimes smells, which is bit worrrying as I'm the only one in it... G
  20. Personally I think it's fine for people to belive in an afterlife, God, aliens, NA's are as good as TT's etc, as long as they don't try to dictate to others their beliefs and especially harm people who don't agree with them. This includes shooting, bombing, beating to death with sticks and cutting people heads off all in the name of "***" (insert your fav religion here). If people need "an answer" especially in times of need like a death etc and it helps them, I think thats fine. I'm happy not to speculate what will happen to me (apart from the obvious, fire / worms etc) all I know is that I'll be doing the same thing as millions of great people before me. The interesting thing is that in all probability I'll know before most of you (51 yo) Best to have as good as time as you can whilst your here (and help other to have one) just in case it's not as good you think it may be when your'e dead. G
  21. Good Question... don't know the answer but I'm sure many will (lets hope you don't get seven different answers) ! Most people seem to recommend a 1 bar rr and then a bc to up to 1.2 bar when needed, seems sense to me, as when pootling about, 1 bar would be fine for me, but would like 1.2 for Sunday morning runs....
  22. As those that know me know, I'm deffo a no "technical" person - but... Can't see the point of going 3" if your'e going to squeeze all the exhaust gasses through a restrictor anyway ! I'm looking for de-cat pipes as well so am interested in the answers. Cheers G
  23. When we did the last one I noticed a difference, but not that much. It wasn't until a few months later when I fitted a boost gauge that I realised that I was only getting a max boost of exactly one bar. I suspect that going from stock to 1.2 bar max would make a lot of difference (hope so, as I'm getting BPU stuff together at the mo). G
