  1. Looking for some clear rear sidelights (facelift) if anybody can help. These fit onto the rear side wings. Cheers G

    What Exhaust

If the new 5Zigen (think that's spelt right) fits an NA, it should be great. Based on the RSR. The RSR is tucked up really high and sounds awsome. See Envy... Cheers G
  3. Ban em all - great idea... Nasty bitey killer dogs done Snobby-posh fox hunters done Bloodthirsty cruel hare hunters done Maniac target pistol shooters done Sword wielding marshal artists doing Foot wielding marshal artists Sadistic boxers Power-mad motorcyclists Looney boy-racers Us G
  4. Thanx on Soo's behalf, she won't see this until tomorrow as her kind and generous (not to mention handsome and bearded) boss has given her a Birthday day off. She's doing her favourite thing - spending some time with her grandson (oh for the days when it would have been her second favourite thing to do) See you in Jan Lui G PS... hope she doesn't see this as she will remind me that she's a partner in the business (although I like to call her my secretary)
  5. Noooooooo Enclosed pic of the last barmaid (so I've been told) not my taste but I hear some of you youngsters prefer an "ample bosom"
  6. Looking forward to Saturday and the new place... It's Soo's Birthday on Monday, so I promised that I'd take her out for a meal I mean, what more could she ask for: fine wines, chicken & chips, buxom serving wenches, great company and Supes in the car park G
  7. Ahh... that's what it was... I got the "Supra Salute" when I overtook a big Audi on the road over the Salisbury plain the other day. The way he veered into the side I think he must have been asleep (although he was driving quite quickly) and the poor chap was startled by the RSR I checked in the rear view (OK, grinned in the rear view) and he gave me the Salute It never occured to me that he was another club member just saying hello and admiring the power of a fellow enthusiasts car
  8. Did wonder about insurance, what I need is a good, low cost insurance company that will do me an extra good deal as I'm very old and sensible and live in the country Re mechanical, I know the risks, but am determined to keep it stock and not play with it, and regarding getting bored, they can't be too bad as they are so hugely popular, ie Japshow at Castle Combe, 5 Supes, 4 Liners, 50,000 Scoobys sits and awaits e-mailed insurance proposal form
  9. Just so we all know the situation re Trackers, what's the "high value" threshold. I was looking at £12K and live in Wiltshire. Cheers G
  10. Looks nice... As I said, I think it's looks are modest, most "non car" folk would not know it was quick, which is what I'm after.
  11. Any chance of "Agreed Value" coming back - mine is due in Feb and it's the single thing that would make me change ! Cheers G When I called last Feb I was told by a young lady that I needed a Tracker fitted - I take it now that I was just unlucky and got a new member of staff ?
  12. I really liked the big black, tinted bad-boy one I think Jurgen sold some months ago, but Soo said it looked like a Pimpmobile - put me off !
  13. Thanx Arc... ___ Re Boy-racer, attached is pic - I thought it looked quite understated for a Scooby ! ___ Chris, I did have a Volvo Turbo Estate a few years ago, looked crap but was very fast, used to like frightening the locals "boys" with it - good fun ! G
  14. Going to look at an Impreza in the next day or so... Getting rid of my "work" ST200 Mondeo (estate) and no longer need an estate now, but still need four doors. I've been torturing myself for months trying to decide on what to replace it with, but I want: 4 Doors & boot - just in case I need to move family about. Something "quick" - quicker than the ST but not Supe TT quick. No too boy-racer - may use it for work sometimes. Looked at Evo's (too expensive to maintain) Skylines (only like the ones I can't afford) Fast Fords (boring) Integra's & Civic R's (just don't really turn me on) Found a 2005 UK WRX in shiney black, nice sexy bonnet scoop but modest stock spoiler. Not as fast as most, but 0-60 5.6 so bit better than my ST. Intend not to mod it in any way as I would prefer to spend my limited dosh on the Supe & Smart car Anybody got any (informed) views.... ?
  15. The Caterham races I've seen have been very competetive ! Lots of bits left on the track after they have done. Seems you need to either have a fair bit of money or own a garage (which lots seem to do) to do OK racing - sadly neither in my case ! Hope you get to do it again, give us a heads up if you do
  16. Yes, that's what started me thinking - I wondered if anybody on here raced old minis, kitcars or anything. Would be brilliant seeing a Supe do well on a track
  17. I know that there's been threats of people track racing a Supra on here over the past few years, but does anybody race anything ? Often go to Castle Combe and see all sorts racing there, single make, single models races as well as Speciat GT's and stuff. Do any of you track race reguarly ? Think CW may do (or has done in the past) any body else... Just interested

Really like GSP's.... Always used the Dunlop training method myself, doesn't work that well but gives lots of satisfaction....
