  1. I think it's great that members on here spend their own time doing research on behalf of the club and then even more time in reporting their finding on here - sometimes with pictures I live a life of unending turmoil regarding this subject, the girls I came across in Copenhagen a few years ago were stunning, tall, blonde, blue eyes & braless But... When I practicing my Greek, the girls there are beautiful, very dark hair, deep brown eyes, lovely colouring As I've said before, I just can't make my mind up, it's a toss up between the two Happy reseaching...
  2. CJ is obviously right but I've seen many like that at meets, some with smaller plates as well.

Brilliant, well done Lui If you need a hand closer to the day give me a shout, I'm about half an hour away (and can sneak the Friday before off is need be). Cheers G

    Visa Scam

Don't think you need to apologise... Peaple still get scammed every day (I personally know of a guy who gave his notice in at work when he thought he had inherited £14 million) so a reminder not to give your security numbers to anybody can't be bad.

I may be free to (help) organise this as I'm not to far away. Mawby / Tigger are even closer if they will be around then I'll have a natter with them and I'm sure we can come up with something. As the Premier Jap Car Club we ought to have a nice stand there. Plus.. how may shows can you pay a bit of dosh and have a blast around a very fast track ! G
  6. Yes really... they lay KFC Popcorn Chicken - yum
  7. Always surprises me as well... I supose that we are all used to the looks of them, but just last time I went out, I jumped into the car after filling up with fuel and a bloke walking to the kiosk just stopped and stood looking at the car right in front of me (I was waiting to pull off), I waited a minute and then gave him the "thumbs up" and he slowly shook his head and said "lovely car - sounds really throaty" and carried on. It's nice to be noticed... PS... would have prefered his daughter stopping though
  8. Makes me laugh when people who think "meat" comes in nice clean plastic bags from Tesco, are faced with the reality of nice cuddly creatures being killed and butchered. As a shooter / falconer (although no time to do either at the mo) I'm endlessly told how cruel I am when I quickly kill a healthy wild rabbit or phesant that has had a good natural life in the sun. I do this with careful concideration and thoughtfulness for the animals I hunt, love being in their environment and marvel at the beauty of a vivid cock phesant and the cuteness of baby rabbits as they play around their burrows in the spring. Don't think I'm a blood thirsty killer as some people tell me I am. If your'e a meat eater you ought to at least be aware that chickens don't lay McNuggets in a nice warm bed of straw Think this current trend to educate TV watchers is a good idea. G
  9. Cheers for that... http://youtube.com/watch?v=avWDxFz5Qeg&feature=related Adore the slight accent
  10. Sorry, can't help, but while people are looking at this I have a similar question. The new Audi R8, sounds like Bjork ? anybody know ? Cheers G PS... good l;ook with your q Ewen.
  11. Oxshott, Surrey. If you do and want to do me the smallest of favours, PM me please. Cheers G
  12. As the only thing I know about "mapping" is the AA one I carry with me in case I get lost, I don't intend to go more than 1.2 BAR (occassionally) to keep things sensible. I think your last paragraph makes lots of sense Simon. I forgot that the guy who recommended copper can probably change a set whilst he has his morning coffee, but for me it would be a weekends work with lots of cursing and finishing up in a foul mood (with a broke car) ! Cheers G Are you down for the Ace cafe at the end of the month ?
  13. Thanks all... always interesting to hear different from the usual answers. Cheers G
  14. Yep... I've done a search and got loads of good information. On my last BPU Supe I fitted iridium as recommended, but recently I was talking to a much respected member on here, somebody that used to do lots of work on supes and has a very good reputation, and he advised against. From what I remember of the conversation (I was in his frozen garage for half a day and my brain was numb) he said that if there was a problem with the engine and standard plugs were used it would destroy the plugs before big damage was done and stop more serious damage happening. If Iridium plugs were used these could merrily carry on working even though the engine was slowly destroying itself. If it han't been said by this gent I would have ignored it, but I just wondered if anybody else had the same view. Sorry if the details are scant, I blame it on 1) brain freeze and 2) my vast age G
  15. Thanks for the feedback, pic of the blue attached
  16. I'm looking for a decent 60mm boost gauge and quite fancy the Blitz MD series. They do a carbon / blue text version which will match my other dials. http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/item_detail.php?prodID=444002954 I have been told that the mechanical ones don't have the buttons on the side which would stop me fitting it in the air vent. Does anybody have any experience, good or bad with them. Cheers G If any trader can match / better the price that would be good.
  17. JapShow at Santa Pod is on the 22nd... Cheers G

    Insurance ?

Sounds about right to me... Head they win and tails they win as well
  19. I deny everything... I've never had a go on an old woman
  20. Gerry

    Insurance ?

One for Mr Sky here... Does the value to the car (as is asked by insurance companies on the proposal) make any difference to A) policy cost and B) the pay back if a write off ? ie. If I think my car is worth 10K will the policy cost be cheaper than if I think it's worth £14 for instance. As the value we put on out cars is usually more than an insurance company would put on them (in the case of a complete loss) are we diddling ourselves ? Just a thought...
  21. Gatso here... I ought to point out to members that I'm not female although I have been known to wear a red jumper (which I thought was "nice & bright" but got me funny looks at the Wilts Meet) ! It was Soo posting I agree with most on here K.A, doesn't matter if you are male or female, there's always people who are immature enough to let their jealousy get the better of them. Just ignoor them and have fun.
  22. Me and MrT organised the last on in Nov (I think) we said we would have another in the "New Year" sometime. It was a good turn out and would be good to repeat. I hope Tigger gets the Wiltshire ones going again, that's not too far ! Also how about the big Ace cafe meet at the end of Jan, a bit further away but it will be a good one, we could convoy from Fleet ? Cheers G
  23. Ooops doing a Gatso........this is Soo. See its cos hes always on here the name permanently stays on here !!!
