As someone who occasionally strays onto this forum (OK - about once an hour during the day) I know a lot of members names, some of them very well. One frustration I have is that when I go to a meet (ie Surrey Meet, last week) I don't have chance to talk to everyone, or meet members that I know well on here, but have never met in person. Just a thought... If we all invested in a spare front number plate with our forum name on, once parked up we could pop it on (or in the windscreen) and at least others would know who's car is who's, and in turn, could possibly say hello to the driver ! This way if I see a car with MAWBY on for instance, I could keep an eye out for the owner if I wanted to have a natter. It would also help identify cars that I'd seen on here that I had a special interest in ie, big single, new seats, fancy dials etc. As I think it's a good idea, I'm going to get a GATSO plate and wear it at the next meet in the hope it will catch on. Whatcha think.... G

Took this little vid two weeks ago in a little pond in our garden, This is about half as many as there is at night ! There's more & more each year but there must be a limit. What amazes me is that one day there are none (they winter in the bottom of the pond) and within 48 hours there are dozens & dozens - must be the water temp change, or sunlight etc. Anyone know a French restaurant local :-) Linky: G

Great pic, must be the biggest meet there - twenty Supes plus the Skylines and that doesn't include Sheena, another black one and a yellow Liner that turned up a bit later !

Had a great day - thanx all who came along. I was amazed at how many people turned up (especialy after there being onle one last month) It was nice (IMO) to see a few GTR's as well, personally, I think it's nice to have something different to look at (and chat to) but would like to keep it at just "us and them" as it's a mkivsupra.net meet. What do you lot think ? Big Apology I had a little game planned, but as I ate very late, by the time I came back out 75% had already gone (don't blame you, it was cold when the sun went in). We played it anyway and Laz won a bottle of scotch ! We placed a boxed bottle of scotch on the field and the person who could drive up to it closest - without knocking it over won There will be a vid on youtube shortly (OK I'll get it out of the way now - I was totally crap and parked up at least two feet from the so**ing think) Hope all who wanted to eat did (eventually) the service is crap there but the grounds are great. I'm sure if we can get a good turnout on a regular basis whey will put some extra staff on (I'll have a word). There must be more who took some pics, as I took a few, but arn't a photographer, or anything like. A few attached and some more on photobucket when I sign up (very soon). Great to see the regulars, Chris & Kate (and Cammeron), Andy, Ian, Sheena, Pete & Daisy etc and especially nice to see some many new faces. See you in April (I'll bring another bottle) ! Cheers G

Can't think why the original thread didn't get more response, it looks like a great day / weekend (and cheap too) ! Up for the day, may be two but not camping, last time I camped (JAE 07) I was wet, cold, uncumfy, kept awake by people arguing most of the night and deafened in the morning Down on the Calendar (me and Soo).

I think this warning PM could be worded better. On first viewing it does look like you are giving infraction points to the receiver. The trouble is that if I got a PM like this I would whiz down it and immediately be annoyed and may not read it again slowly. IMO G
