  5. OK Folks... done ! The bad news is that you can't order until MONDAY 21st APRIL as Karen is away on holiday. Cut off date for delivery at Japfest (post free) will be FRIDAY 2nd MAY, so you will still have two weeks to get around to ordering. Prices are: Stock UK oblong plate £10.00 / Import oblong £14.00 postage will be £2.99 if not collected at Japfest. Orders will be direct to Karen and payment will be by credit / debit card / cheque etc. Full details on everything will be on new Group Buy thread. Photo shows Import size plate (forgive the sellotape) and Adam's final design. This will be the only design offered with no variants except on the real name where you can have none, first or both. I WILL PUT UP A "GROUP BUY" THREAD NEXT WEEKEND - PLEASE WAIT FOR THIS THREAD AND DON'T ATTEMPT TO BUY BEFORE MONDAY 21ST. Cheers all, Gerry Many thanks to Smiffad for the design and his work on this.

  8. Still not 100% that we can get there yet - sorry. I would say it's 75/25 that we can get Be sad to cancel, but hardly worth it if we only get two / three cars, hope this Bump will get a few more ! May pick up when the good weather comes around... Cheers G
  9. Nic... why don't you just give in and tell all them Lardy UK Spec owners on here what they really want to hear... UK Spec's RULE, they have more POWER, go FASTER, their turbo's are TWICE as BIG as titchy Jap ones and they are better looking as well (as long as you saw the ugly light washers off) other than they above they are both the same G

  15. Great News folks... I've just had confirmation that Mr T has said he will be our Official Measurer again. This position not only requires a very keen eye, but someone who is impervious to both bribery and intimidation and Mr T did a stirling job last month (even though he let Laz win) Looking at the weather forecast, it looks like we will be fortunate not to be blinded by the sun during the competition and for those of us with Turbo's, the cool air will give max boost on the run up See ya tomorrow... G
  16. Sorry... I didn't get the nice yellow R34 GTR either - shame ! I didn't think of videoing it until someone suggested it so I missed a couple - and you wern't as crap as me
  17. It was fun when we tried it last month... In view of my efforts, I'm getting a longer "Official Measuring Tool"
  18. Sorry... memory like a "thingy" - can't recall what it is" ! Looked great, but I think the owner wasn't happy with the spray job (know the feeling) ! sieve - that's the word
  19. At the Surrey Meet See: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=145097 I was parking nose-in recently and cursing that I wasn’t quite sure of exactly where my nose finished (a sad admission I know) ! I then started to wonder how many other Supra owners knew exactly where the end of their nose was - the competition was born The Famous Grouse Parking Competition Rules 1, Drive slowly up to the marker (bottle) and stop as close to it as you can. 2, Drivers who touch the marker will be immediately disqualified and humiliated 3, The driver who is closest to the marker (without touching) wins the bottle "]* no sneaky outside help is allowed in any form whatsoever (Daisy / Sheena) * only one go is allowed - no excuses (e.g. I sneezed - sun in eyes - undulating grass etc) * the adjudication of the Official Measurer is final and not to be argued with (unless I don’t win) * no questioning of the police calibrated Official Measuring Tool will be tolerated * there will be no interference, haranguing or bribing of the Official Measurer * in the event of a draw, the winner will be decided by the tossing of the Official Tossing Coin * in the event of an Official Toss-Off, only two options of calls will be made, “heads” or “tails” * if the Official Tosser is related to any of the finalists, he will relinquish this duty to the Deputy Tosser * no disruption will be tolerated whilst the Official Tosser or Deputy Tosser is in the act of Tossing * if after the Official Toss, the Official Tossing Coin has landed end-on - who gives a toss - I get the bottle [/font] The first Try out was at last months Surrey Meet (see thread for vid of Laz winning and me doing crap)
  20. See: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=145097 In view of the great turnout of lovely looking cars last month, we have been asked by the Fairmile "Car Club Coordinator" that we park in a "horse shoe" so they can have a photo done for their car club wall. As I'm convoying up from the Heron at Fleet, I won't get there first, so can anybody who gets there early try to let others know what the plan is please. It will be easier to park like this from the start rather than have to get everybody back to their cars later on. Cheers Gerry

  22. Just a quick "bump" for this Saturday at 12.00 noon
  23. Don't panic... Yes, but only after we get a confirmation on exact design & price. Craigsplates & Smiffad are talking about the design / fonts and printing details at the mo. Cheers G
