Eh... less of the cheek junior
  2. Just to help re the "horns - no horns" requests. The last ones I got all came with horns which are supplied but can be used or not as you wish, so no need to specify.
  3. 1) Darragh: 2 Black Horned, 1 Black Supra, 1 Black And Red Twin Turbo 2) AndrewOW: 2 Black Toyota logos (no horns) 3) Gatso: 1 Supra and 1 Twin Turbo Saw in the flesh at the Japshow, really nice, look the dogs Cheers G

PS... and lots of oldies as well Suspect many of the HA in their 50's and older still wear the same stuff as they did in thier youth (not the same type of clothes - the same clothes)

Great fun... http://www.bulldogbash.eu/ Live bands, bikes of all types, massive dance tents etc etc. Unbelievable toilets Lots of interesting "types" of bikers, all look hard as nails, suspect some are as well. Run by the Hells Angels for those that didn't know. Recomended

Can recommend the Trance Tent at the Bulldog Bash, for those in the South. They boast the biggest bar in Europe
  7. used that one before... The other advantage to the M1 one is that you can hear all the nutters coming off the M1 and onto the A45. takes about 40 minutes to Pod. didn't know until morning, but the Envy boys stayed there along with their cars (they were tucked away so didn't see them until we were leaving)- sounded nice
  8. Hi, usually stay away overnight half a dozen times during the year and have always just booked a local Travelodge. Habit really, but at around £49.00 you know exactly what you are getting and they are usually near motorways etc. On Sat before Japshow we decided to stay near the place rather than get up at sillyo'clock on Sunday, Travelodge were booked so booked online at Express by Holiday Inn (J15 M1). £51.00 for the room and much better than TL. Nice bar and big lounge, nicer rooms, conti breaky included. Will be looking for them again (unless I can catch one of the "cheapy" TL rooms you can sometimes get. PS. that one also does cheaper packages including entry to Pod for the major events.
  9. Any of you young ladies & gentlemen planning on going to Creamfields this year ? http://www.creamfields.com/ Love dance / trance stuff but at 50 feel a bit (lot) ancient going to a club (so I don't) ! Thought as it's huge & outside I (we) wouldn't look too out of place Think we are going to go for it and take my niece for a bit of cred Anybody else .... ?
  10. You will love it, I had two Westys for about ten years. Great on the twisties ! What engine have you got, both mine had the old fashioned 1600 Xflow bored to 1700 with twin webbers. Seems many use the Vauxhall 16v now unless you go all out with a bike engine Is it that one in the pic or just a similar one ?
  11. Again, I'm not sure, but I think you can contact your credit card and tell tem not to pay them as you are in dispute with the. I think you ought to talk to trading standards again, form a plan and carry it out. Don't let them (the sellers) bully you. Good luck. Keep us posted.
  12. Bit of both I think... It doesn't seem to catch out the top drivers (often) but it's a really nasty corner. You approach it from a fast straight and it's unsighted over a rise so lose most of your braking when you go over the top. Done it a couple of times in a Westy thinking each time "I'm going to die"
  13. Seems to me that they may have been "really helpfull" as you have already paid out for repairs that should have been covered under warranty. I'm sure the sale of goods act is fairly strict when it comes to selling things "not fit for purpose" which your bike wasn't. Makes me mad, but I'm sure that some people in the motor trade see a woman and think they are an easy target, it's happened to Soo (my wife) in the past and when (grumpy) me gets involved things change ! It's hard to compose a letter only knowing the bare facts, but as you are already taking to trading standards could they help, or have you looked at their web-site for help. Think a letter is a good idea though especially telling them that you have taken advice from trading standards (maybe called something different now) and generally taking a hard line with them. They may not be so nice and helpful, but at least they won't be taking you for a ride (forgive the pun) ! Best of luck. G
  14. I had a very annoying squeek from my back end, but I just put it down to my age : : : : Not very useful - sorry, but I'm sure somebody will help. G
  15. Agreed with above... Great prog though, laughed lots at the police bit (especially the start: American vs UK bit)
  16. Bell End...I'm sure I saw this on the map near Santa Pod
  17. IMO there were far more attractive ladies walking around the place than on the stands, you have to have a 100% figure to get away with wearing what some of them were (which IMO none of them had). May be my age but I prefer classy to tarty... Great show: couldn't belive no rain and lots of sun (face is very red today). Obviously gave the gazebo idea up as a bad job, like most of the traders ! Great to meet the few people I did, especially names I've known for years on here but never met (Hi "Mr Sheffield") ! Had a great day and nice drive home, I must have had my grumpy face on as loads of people in front pulled over to let me by, not one people carrier stuck in the outside lane, was great ! Thanks to Lui for organising, see you at the Ace... Cheers G
  18. Never know what to say in this situation, just wanted to send our condolences to his family. Sad day...
  19. Going up to M1 this afternoon, should be picking you up at J14 M1
  20. Hi Sky... Got a modded Smart Fortwo () wide wheels, lowered, remapped to 101 BHP. Is it the sort of thing you may be interested in quoting for or do you just go for bigger pwer stuff ? Cheers G
  21. You lot are just to quick for me... By the time I wrote the post it was already "Snoped"
  22. Hope that's true as I love it... Brilliant

    Check out my Cake

That's Great ! Soo made a little red Westfied for my birthday some years ago (as I had one then). It looked a bit like a Noddy car - I laughed - it went in the bin No birthday treat for me that night
  24. Got a gazeebo coming to me this week and will be at the site 9.00ish on Sunday to pop it up. Lui, do you have any plans (layout) yet - as in where do you want it to go ? Cheers G PS... bring your own chairs & beer
