  4. Happy Birthday Have a good one mate... G & S
  5. Sounds interesting... Have you been to one before ? Sounds like on this day we would be able to park in the "themed vehicles" section on the start line ?
  6. Bummer Tigger.... I keep waiting for this to happen to me (think my front is smaller than yours). Had a policeman take a long hard look at it (then me) when I was stuck in a jam and he was walking down the traffic to pick some bits of car up behind me. I wriggled through the jam before he came back.. Sooner or later I suppose See you Friday night G x
  7. OMG... Now condoms. Do you mean to tell me that when grandad lent me his trusty "Geronimo" when I was seventeen he was at it again. I did wonder at the time, as I didn't realise that they were reusable and had a zip in... No wonder I couldn't keep my girlfriends I'm going to the cemetery with a shovel later
  8. Ewan... what can I say ! I too have been living in a state of delusion for the last 52 years ! I will always remember this day as the day I saw the light and realised that all those years ago when my beloved grandad tought me to tie my laces he was having a laugh at me, even though i was only five at the time. I used to think he was the greatest grandad ever - now I know the truth. When he died a few years ago I was unconsolable, little did I realise that all those years as I grew from boy to man, he was secretly laughing behind my back every time he looked at my shoes. Now i hate him with a vengance. i've just rang my gran up and told her what a bas**ard he was and how I bet she was in it too and exactly what I thought of them both - her uncontrolable sobbing didn't have any effect as i just looked at my shoes and it kept me strong ! Anyway, thank you Ewan, I can start my life afresh and for the first time in my life tie my shoes with pride. Pics below are of my first attempt (of nearly thirty) and the finished article. Although I had to go out two three different shops to buy more laces. With Thanks G
  9. Some brilliant ones there.. Shakespear walked into a bar, barman says... You're bard (baird - geddit) !
  10. Really hope next saturday is as nice as it is here today, clear sky, sun's out, cool air...fantastic morning
  11. PS: Beefycol, come to SupraPod next weekend and you can see all sorts of set-ups and natter with the nice people there
  12. I love it when Newbies who don't know who's been in Supra's for years make free with their knowledge, look at the join dates lads, some of these guys were into supras when you were still driving blinged up Nova's... Re "Induction Kit", I'm sure that Chris Wilson (Supra Guru) and others recon that the stock (manufacturers designed) air intake was better than after market kits, although don't look as cool. This right Chris ? G
  13. They had it at last years SupraPod: Copied for MAWBY COMPETITORS PLEASE NOTE - Sky Insurance have also managed to arrange a special insurance cover for your cars whilst participating in this event. This insurance will cover accident damage only and will cost the following depending on the sum insured... Up to £5,000. Premium £35 Up to £10,000. Premium £50. Up to £15,000. Premium £60. Up to £20,000. Premium £70. No cover for cars over £20k is available. Please see the full Terms & Conditions for more details about the cover, but please note the "Competitive driving" clause is not relevant in our case thanks to Sky Insurances negations with the underwriters. Anyone interested in this insurance cover should contact Sky Insurance direct and ask to speak to Jae. Sky Insurance will need all interested members to have contacted them and paid at least one week before the event. They will then send all the policies documentation to myself and I will distribute it at the event to the correct people. Cheers G
  14. Careful... teaching "how to be a good parent" on a forum is fraught with difficulties. Perhaps it would be a good idea if the Government moved their cameras into our homes to check we don't break any laws there... (Government) makes me sick - everybody knows whats a "smack" and whats unacceptable. I'd like to give Gordon a "smack"
  15. Happy Birthday mate... have a good one. Cheers G
  16. Was hoping someone would start a thread like this - thankyou. All the very best mate. sent Ged & Soo
  17. Very Many Congratulations all...... Being a grandad is great and will be even better in a couple of years when she can follow you around asking lots (and lots) of questions about everything ! Makes me feel not quite so old on here as well - we need a "Gramps in Supes" section Pic looked a bit dodgy in thumbnail to open up whilst eating my bacon breaky, so was pleased to see she was emerging from a towel when I bigged it up Congrats again........... PS: Charlotte, If I may be so bold as to offer assistance
  18. Go for it... Soo is desperate to have some other ladies there (mainly cos I said there would be before I signed her up) If you havn't done it before, it's great and you don't have to either "only have four runs" or "rag your car all day" - I ran about eight / nine times last year, maybe ten and it was deffo worth the money. G
  19. Gerry

    Fire Breather

Come on lads, arn't you being just a little harsh ? My old Westfield, popped & back-fired on deceleration and even an old miserable git like me really liked it ! OK, he may have an N/A but nobodys perfect I love listening to banging, popping, back-firing performance cars and notice that when PIG is about there are lots of smiling faces like mine.... Go On Kionno buy NOS & a flamer
  20. Yes... But on the other hand, if he could do what I hoped for, on live TV, and then pop them back in and read the bible, I might change my mind
  21. I'm not usually a mean person (I don't think so anyway) but when I heard of his latest stunt i had a secret hope that after a few hours his eyeballs would pop out and dangle on their stalks like two yo-yo's voted
  22. On Sky this week. Samuel L Jackson & Christina Ricci (and Timberland). Like S L Jackson and as for Christina Ricci, last time I saw her she was in the Adams family - she's all growed up now Cool soundtrack too...
