  1. Brilliant day folks - really enjoyed it. Big thank you to the mods and everyone who organised it - we should do it twice a year Only regret is that we just stayed over on the Friday night and not the Saturday as well - I'm sure it would have been very entertaining Tried as i might, I could only improve my 2007 time (13.669) by .003 of a sec Now BPU'd and running at just over 1 BAR - EBC on my shopping list now. I think Jaymdee & MrLover were struggling to improve on last year - was there something in the air ? Sue suggested the wind - but I felt fine Pleased Soo had fun with Sheena, she's addicted now and she noted the date of the next RWYB day Nice to spend some time with MrT, Ido, Jaymdee and have chance to natter to Homer, Mawby, Tigger etc. Some great cars there, loved the sound of some of the big singles... Great Day... G

  8. It seems to vary, they have done £10.00 deals before I'm sure. They still do £29.00 rooms but it all depends on when & where. I booked a couple of £19.00 yesterday on the nights before competitions coming up. At that price it's better to go upo the night before and not get stressed getting up at silly O'clock in the morning.
  9. On topic now, again as a bolchy (spellin) teen with a crappy Triumph Herald, had big row with my dad, stormed out of the house, jumped into the car and hit the gas... Skidded on the pebbled drive and smacked into my dads company Jag Last month - i did manage to lose it on a small roundabout near us showing some blinged up Megan how to do it... Lost the front end (front wheel drive ST200), did a full 360 and parked it on the roundabout. Lots of funny looks as I waited to get off looking at all the drivers facing me
  10. When I was a teen (yes - I can remember that far back) I used to go "dogging" most weekends with a mate. He had a couple of Jack Russells and I had a nice little lurcher bitch - happy innocent days
  11. Just a heads up: Travelodge have released dates for their £19.00 rooms over the next few months. Lots around Christmas all over the place.
  12. Just a thought (I'm sure far to late to do something about) I've just remembered what I thought would make the day lots better at last years event. A loud speaker system with someone announcing who was running (and if special, what was under the bonnet) times etc. Most of us will see masses of cars running and not have a clue who they are. It would be really interesting to know who the nice chaps on here was and what they drove. G
  13. PS: Pleased to report that at my old age I don't know (or really want to) what a "Scally" is. The only Scally I have heard of comes before Wag
  14. Note to self... don't sell any used clothing on e-bay, pity, I was going to turn some old fencing breeches into cash God knows how much I'd get on there for the gymbag full of "ladies chest protectors" that we use at the club ---- Oh No... just realised that as I clicked on the link, now the Government will have me on their "may be gay" list - bummer G
  15. Are you booked to run ? I notice that henk has just pulled out and is flogging his place (see Discussion thread). Cheers G
  16. That's a real shame Henk, was looking forward to seeing your "new" car run
  17. Excellent... now you can blow your turbo's up with us See you there mate. G
  18. Sheena (Amazing Grace) is going and running, think that makes four girleez Assume she's running her Supe and not the Corvette, I'll know tomorrow. Well done her :)
  19. I'll let you work that one out Steve:Pling: Just to let everyone know I wasn't waiting until 10.30, I got in from training at 10.28 and had to pinch the PC from Soo who was facebooking (not happy) ! If it stands, it's for Amazing Grace - Shena. Chilled at your decision Steve o mighty one
  20. My artistic juices started overflowing with brilliant advertising concepts, original product names and unique logo's etc for this exiting new product - then I read the ("serious replies please" bit)
  21. £35.00 On behalf of a lady member who hasn't paypal
