  1. If they still do the "Curlywerlymegathingy" Lazrus is the King
  2. Popped a little program on Soo's PC that every time she went to put her arrow over the main start button (lower left) it dodged out of the way - again and again I thought it was very funny, but she had a customer on the phone asking for some details when she discovered it, and somehow she didn't see the funny side - which made it even better
  3. "Ice cream sundae's competition" now that's what I call a good idea for a competition - forget silly parking games that I'm crap at Is it speed or quantity
  4. Was going to have a "best exhaust note" competition as well

    Advice on Bikes

I'm sure that everybody on here that rides a bike, is about to, or has done, doesn't need reminding that we lost a member recently. We have also had more than one member killed in Supra's, but I don't think we ought to all sell up and buy Smart cars ! It's a personal choice, but thousands of people get a huge pleasure from bikes - Google Ace Cafe Brighton Burn Up and look at the thousands of faces there.

    Advice on Bikes

In second that... Just did my DAS and looking for a bike at the mo, CBR600F keeps popping to the top of my list for a sensible powered bike that should be reliable (Honda) although if I could find a nice affordable Triumph Daytona 600 I could be tempted Re how dangerous they are, we all know that if someone belts out of a side-street into you, it will be bad - but I belive many (maybe most) bike accidents happen because of speeding, especially the very bad ones. I intend to be very careful and not let the "red mist" take over, not buy a 195MPH missile and I will wear proper kit. And the bottom line is that if we all stayed in more or drove a sensible little car we would all live longer - but how boring. G
  13. Wow... I read about nine pages before my old eyes started to get tired What a young bunch you lot are, now I realise why we don't get more people at the meets, your Mum & Dads don't give you enough pocket money to pay for petrol Seems I'm far to old to be playing with silly fast cars that I should have grown out of thirty years ago (saying that I've just started looking at Bikes at the mo - second time around) 52 - but feel like an eighteen year old G
  14. Thanks for that... Did my DAS a couple of weeks ago and my bike instructor and partner were big into Malamute's, including racing them, Tony Smykowski & partner Alison from Tisbury - know them ?
