  1. Will be there before the convoy arrives to put the few club banners up etc. Anybody else there early, if so, what time ? Cheers Gerry
  2. As you know sweet, I'm on hols from that day :-( Hope you have a good one, see you at Japfest. Gerry xxx
  3. Pity it didn't go ahead James, I was blatting round Wales on bikes in the sun. It always surprises me that this isn't a Mega meet as there must be loads of members within a 30 minute drive of the Fairmile. Can only think that moneys tight to the mo, I can't belive I used £54 worth of petrol this weekend on a 600cc (non turbo) :-) bike !!! G
  4. Great to be out with the Supra crowd again (just a shame mines sick at the mo). Was a good turn out for a cold March day. Good to see Homer in a Supra again. Pity no lovely yellow one there x Cheers Gerry
  5. Yes, but you know what they say "abstinence makes the heart grow fonder" for something like that :-) We may have matching rides Sat too, the Supes off the road so it will be the CTR or the (yellow) bike ! See ya soon G x
  6. Pleased to see you are getting this meet back up :-) Hope to be there in the Supe (although have a strange vibration at the mo) :-( If not, on the bike. Gerry
  7. Gutted... my fault for not coming on here as much since I fell in love (with my bike) ! Saw this thread yesterday - the day after I paid a deposit to be in Greece that week / weekend with family. I did dragonball 06 & 07 (still got the stickers on) and am really sad to miss this one. You guys will have a great time, just the drive down to the tunnel is brill, and it gets better from there ! Have fun... Gerry
  8. I've got the same problem, if you disconect the belt and reconnect it tensions fine, I'm going to have a go at disconecting the latch wire as below Supraforums "Sorry to jump in here, but I think that UCANTRY disconnected the wire going to the seatbelt latch instead of the wire going to the seatbelt retractor. If you disconnect the one going to the seatbelt latch, the car will think that you're never wearing your seatbelt, and the warning light will be lit. If you disconnect the one going to the seatbelt retractor, the warning light will light up only when it's supposed to, and the car can't tell the retractor to "relax", so the tension will always be higher. I did this to my Supra right after I bought it. I like the added tension (it's only a little bit)." My only concern is the possibility of it effecting the airbag operation - does anybody know ? Cheers Gerry
  9. Looking good - you can't have to much yellow (you should see my bike) :-) PS... Quick mate - edit an "e" in there quickly before she sees, you know what these women are like about spellin thier names right ;-) G
  10. I washed mine at the weekend too ; ; ; ; ; Looks great, but then Andy's car always looks stunning. Personally, I think it'sone of the best looking cars in the club, subtle but awsome at the same time. Cheers Gerry
  11. hought it would turn out as it has... good weather and me not looking to be finished work until after 7.00 Think if the evenings a bit cool most people would be thinking of going when I arrived so going to knock it on the head Have fun folks, take lots of pics Cheers G
  12. SHOOTING FOXES IS MEAN AND NASTY AS THEY ARE A GODS CREATURES. I THINK YOU ARE VERY NAUGHTY TO SUGGEST THIS. What you need for lots more fun is a nice greyhound x collie x bedlington lurcher, not too bright, but quick and big enough to easily deal with a fox (or so I'm told) or even better, a big female Golden eagle and some open ground
  13. Hope all goes well, I'm sure it will, great news Can't get to this one sorry, off on a ride-out to the Isle of Wight for the weekend. Must get out in the Supe soon though... Have fun all. Gerry
  14. And by that you mean ... G
  15. Postscript I love my Supra I'm sure it's because of my outstanding personality and charm and nothing to do with the Supra, but I'm delighted to report that Gemma and I are now "an item" (however, I'm never going to be without a Supe again - just in case) Gerry Gemma
  16. No - I meant his total and utter humiliation on the strip against an old bloke with just a TT G
  17. Add me to the long list of people who had a great SupraPod 2010 despite the weather. Real shame about the drag strip, but on the upside, Jimojameso may have had a lucky escape I’m not usually to interested in drifting, but spent a fair few hours enjoying it, especially watching members (braver than me) having a go, hats off to you. Great to meet some new and old faces, it was good to catch up with Scot & Jon and finally meet TJP and some of the Kent Crew, pleased you finished up at the nice warm, dry Ibis Great to have a little cuddle with Tigger, still waiting for my invoice Lee, no matter what the charge, it was well worth the money. The evening / night was great, can’t wait for the pics of “Genna & Vicky’s Massage Parlour” you two could earn a fortune (especially if you moved to Scotland) Hope those that went to Japfest had a good day, sorry to cut & run, but had the opportunity of a bike ride-out with a young lady, which turned into the start of my first new relationship since Sue left a year ago - so for me a bloody brilliant weekend. Gerry PS. Paul... You don't know how lucky you are mate - get a ring on her finger before someone else pinches her
  18. Just for a laugh, I'm going to put my baffle in tomorrow for a couple of runs, won'y be quick, bt you honestly will have heard nothing like it before (well I did once three years ago at Japfest Combe). Will sound like a Harrier taking off I'm sure if I do it often enough it will biher something up, but it's good for a bit of fun and frightening everybody within half a mile
  19. That would be good Hope to see you there then. G
  20. 45 mins to an hour depending on the time of day. Will set off at 8.00am. G
  21. Thanks for that, thats four at Fleet services at 9.15 - any more ??? G
  22. Sorry chaps... have switched convoys in favour of a later one that I may be able to temp a young lady to go with me on (she's not keen on getting up at 5.00am - not sure why So I won't be at Leigh Delamere Services. Have a good trip up guys, save a bacon sandwhich for me Cheers Gerry
  23. Happy Birthday Jon, have a good one mate - see you tomorrow
  24. Ok, say you leave about ten minutes late (as is usual on meets) you would get to Leigh Delamere Services M4 at about 6.30. Sound good ? You don't need to stop, just find me in the car park (I'll park somewhere obvious) and I'll tag on). I'll PM you my mobile in case of problems mate. Cheers G
