  1. I have one second problem mentioned in the Supraforums thread. The belt is sometimes saggy, but if you click the release button it tensions ! They suggest cutting the elec wire to the reel. Somebody has then asked if this will effect the seatbelt-airbag system (but this question was not answered) ! Is the seatbelt connected to the airbag system does anybody know. Seems like a quick fix, but I hate the thought of cutting wires that are connected with safety systems unless it's 100% OK. G
  2. Gerry

    Geordie joke

Good one Colin.. Mike, I was born in Albert Park ! G
  3. Hope you have (had) a good one mate. G
  4. Sensible post DSK... Everybody knows bikes are more dangerous than cars, but they are brilliant fun as well. I know that most people know somebody's mate that was killed etc etc, but there are people who have ridden for years and never had an off. I'm sure it can be partly down to luck, but also a big bit is just being sensible (which is often the hard part as bikes just egg you on to go round that bend a bit faster than last time). I'd say that if you really fancy a bike, get one - if you just need a cheap commuter, get a small car. IMO G
  5. My mate always uses the same passowrd at work so i just copied it from looking over his shoulder - can't understand why it didn't work when I tried it, as it was just seven stars in a row *******
  6. Just to add a different one in the mix, I got an RSR on mine and it's as low sounding as the Nur and as loud, but sits up under the car better than the Nur. I know thay are not made now, but think I remember that Envy (remember them) had a copy made by 5zigen. Not sure if it's available anywhere, but if I wanted another exhaust that's where I would start looking. Cheers G
  7. When I cut my beard it usually takes about two weeks to grow back to the same size. My beard is however a tad shorter than a regular cat whisker so it may take longer. It do notice though, that just after I've cut it, I do have increased difficulty in being able to judge the distance between two cars when I'm driving, also, if I'm taken to the top of a large building and thrown off I don't always land on my feet. Other than these two minor difficulties it's fine. Whilst I'm not usually a great advocate of chopping things of cats, but I would make an exception for the manky ginger tom that craps on my dads garden. But it wouldn't be his whiskers
  8. It's not the snow I worry about it's the freezing wet roads round here. Lost the front end last night, nearly eneded up in a ditch, then lost the back end and front again and very nearly hit an oncoming car All this in the same frantic ten seconds - not nice. What's more I was only doing about 40 as well ! First time I've had visions of crashing in years... G
  9. Looked very carefully and not even a single "Tit" there
  10. Oh No... Bad news for Jurgen - bet he's getting an ad for his GTR ready for Pistonheads as we speak, in preparation for getting his new Focus
  11. IMO.... I had it fitted when I was about to go BPU. Over the years, there has been many cars crashed "coming out of a roundabout" etc etc and I'm sure some of these guys were better drivers than me. My thinking was that if it saves me (or more importantly, my wife)from completely losing the back end in the wet just once ever, it will have been a good investment. It's also fun in the wet away from the lights if I feel the need to be a hooligan G
  12. "Dog sh1t and baby puke" Wasn't this a low level hit for Ian Dury about twenty years ago
  13. Great News... Power to the people :-)
  14. Great track... May even go mad and buy it, it's always great to manipulate the manipulators G
  15. Latest video animation of the Blookhound SSC which is set to break 1000 MPH in I think about a year and a half. Info here: http://www.bloodhoundssc.com/ Now set to run in South Africa. I signed up ages ago as a 1K member, which means I get to see a UK run before it goes out there - brilliant G
  16. N/A = Slow TT = Quick Single = Expensive N/A-T = Bought the wrong one first JAP = Proper UK = Lardy Auto = Lazy Manual = No girlfriend lol G PS, I know N/A's arn't "slow" OK
  17. A mate of mine recently got in, said it was hard but not silly. Thought he would be shipped off to somewhere warm to play with guns, but he's just started a two year stint guarding submarines in Scotland ! On the upside, he says the accomodation is great and nobody is shooting at him :-) G Good Luck.

  19. Sorry, no pearl, black, red, yellow, green or tartan. The only one I had for sale was Liquid Chrome which is now sold ! However, I do have one Toyota with horns still for sale in Liquid Chrome - still with free extra horns Cheers G
  20. IMO mediocre inventor but brilliant marketing man. The vacs are not as good as many on the market and quite a bit more expensive. The technology is no different to many vacs you can buy and the filtration not as good as many cheaper as well. People buy them because they are a “Dyson”. Suspect the bladeless fan has blades in the body of it and the air is redirected. Good idea but not genius really, especially at £200 ! You got to hand it to him when it comes to making lots of money though… G
