    Nicola, I've always liked MR2's..... There should have been a lot more Supe's, don't know what happend to them. Pos some went to the Fast Show at Pod instead. Will make a note in the diary - "must do better" next year ! Cheers

    We bought ours from http://www.car-imports-direct.com in Bristol. They seem a straight company and have been doing it a long time. Private would probably be cheaper but with no warranty (for what they are worth). Good luck..

    Simon & Eva (didn't get your screen name) and SupraRob, nice to meet you all (and others) sorry to sneak off without saying "bye" was going to pop up to Pod, but after a stopping for a snack mid route we changed our mind and headed our way home. Went through the lovely villiage of Ye Olde Milton Keynes, LOTS of roundabouts and dualcarriageways and no cameras (think) !! See you all again in the warm - I hope. Gerry & Sue

    Anybody going up from the deep South ??? Looks as though we will be in a convoy of one at the mo, but on the good side at least we won't get split up ! Also, as we have got two, two-way's we can chat to each other an pretend we have an "imaginary friend" in our "convoy". Cheers.... PS No replies with the word "sad" in them pleeeese !

    Supraguy - thank you, the trouble is, is that some on here know so much about motors (you) that they can't understand that some others (me) know so little Until I got the Supe, I had never heard of a Bov, let alone what it did - all this learning makes my brain ache !     Thanks Dave & Michael.... How stuff works is good, thanx. Think an upgrade path would be good, the only trouble is that all the "engine geeks" only like the way they do it and thinks that everyone else's way of doing it is crap. I can see it starting a war I'll do it bit by bit and by asking people on meets etc. Thanks.... PS Supraguy --- ho ho ho very helpful !

    Does anyone know of a good web-site out there that explains (in VERY SIMPLE simple terms) what the various mod bits do and how they work ? There must be an "idiots guide" out there somewhere for BOV's an stuff ? Got a J Spec TT if that helps, standard at the mo cept for some kool seats !! Cheers Gerry

    Welcome to the Club..... Hope to see you at Combe. Are you thinking of a MkIV at somtime or sticking with your iii ? The iii was the first Supe that I lusted after, but by the time I could afford one, I fell in love with the shape of the IV. Both brilliant.... ! Cheers Gerry

    Hope you all got home safely, no blue light etc ! Nice turn out in the end for a cold March day. Good to meet you all again, must get a bigger exhaust, am feeling very out-gunned ! Supra-Power, was nice to see you, I'm really sorry we lost you at the lights, I was following "the car in front" as I didn't know where the pub was - as it turned out he didn't either, but we caught "the pack" up after a bit. Nice to see you anyway, hope you will turn up again, it was the Mkiii that I first lusted after many years ago ! Gerry PS. Koool seats Brian !!

    Think that's sensible...... The trouble is that you get "drawn in" to going a little quicker than you intend to when there's a few of you. You seem to get that "invisible to radar" feeling when you are in the middle of a convoy of other maniacs (sorry - I mean club members). The last thing you want is to be concerned that you can't stop as quick as "the car in front" See you at the next one......

    What's all this chaps... can't go cos clutch is duff... can't go cos brakes are duff... hope the other car sites arn't lookin ! Would be better off telling a small white lie - i.e. am getting laid ! Works for some.... Hope you both get mobile soon.....
