  1. Thanx for that mate, sounds like it's worth a look before I spend £200 on a new arm. G
  2. Don't - you will start Colin off again, he will be popping down the garden to pick some oranges off the tree and chop some sugar cane in his veg patch. Wonder if it's warm out there yet, I can almost smell the fennel as you stroll out in the evenings - yearn G
  3. Pancakes... yum I can never decide what I like best on them, sugar & lemon, sugar & orange juice, home made jam or blackberry vinegar. I usually stick with blackberry vinegar as I've some nice stuff I made about five year ago. It's now nice & think, sweet & sharp and makes your jaw click if you know what I mean G PS, Fresh lemons Colin - show off
  4. I didn't put an "I've been dumped after 30 years" thread up, but it's not a secret. Sue left in August, not sure why (neither was she really) she just had a growing urge to recapture her lost youth (just about to turn 50, kids gone, etc etc) very sad for both of us. We are still on amicable terms which is good. I was completely gutted, but now getting better, just hope it works out for her and she finds happiness. Take care. G
  5. That's a bummer... Well, just sit down and decide what you want, if it's another Supe - get one They seem to get cheaper all the while. If not, I'm sure you could beg a lift in one for some events this summer. The good thing is that you can decide what you and only you want to do from now on (till you find Mr Right) without needing to think of the other half. Cheers G
  6. Sounds a bit like my day, spent half of it up in out attic clearing out my stuff ready to move (split up six months ago, but giving her the house). Wasn't bad until I found a case full of old photo's - happy days G PS... on the good side, I get to play all summer in the Supe and on the bike :-)
  7. Thanx for that chaps, will give Paul / Matt a call. Just wanted to check I wasn't missing an easy fix. Cheers G
  8. Just giving myself a bump - Heeelloooo out there
  9. My NSF Lower Ball Joint Gator has split and needs replacing. I've searched (for a change) and see that you can't get them as a seperate part, so am looking for a new arm complete. Unless you know different ? If I do need a whole new arm, perhaps Nic etc could pm me the cost. Cheers G PS. I did talk to Matt at AFR about doing it which would be great, but I'm trying to get out of a four hour round trip if poss.
  10. Yes, but what about woman ???
  11. All is forgiven Reeves999999 Just joshing, all quick Toyota's welcome G
  12. Happy Birthday... Hope it's a good one, see you in a couple of weeks. Cheers G
  13. Reeves999999, Really sorry to hear about you owning a ST205 WRC, hope it gets better soon Tigger, What do you mean "Genmetalish" it's Moonstone Silver - and thank you for bringing this painful memory up You are now officially off my Valentine card list Unofficialy though... G
  14. I may be wrong (often am) but I didn't think you could have slogans on plates, thought it was just country flag, nothing else. Good luck, but i suspect you will need it if you take on police / dvla etc. Cheers G

The Suzuki SV forum was exactly the same until recently when they changed the default colour to black - still getting used to it. http://forums.sv650.org/ G
  16. Be my pleasure, just name your time (I'll even clear all the crap out of my passenger seat as well ) G x (hope i'd sneaked the little "x" in without Mega Mod Mawbs seeing - do ya recon I got away with it)
  17. As you're being deserted by your hubby I would consider it an honour to go sharezees with you. "Large red wine with that" ??? G
  18. Too right.. Seriously nice car you have there, with or without the spoiler.
  19. Howdy youngster... It's a good question (the teenies in the club won't think so, but I understand how you feel). Think I was 48 when I got my first one and I did have big reservations before going to my first club meet. Like you, I thought that they would be all bass, bling & baseball caps. But no (well not all anyway) , the mixture of members is really good, don't think there's many older than me now (53 now) but I've never once felt that age was a problem. Well I suppose it's a problem if you are only a twenty-something, pay mega insurance and have to worry about looking cool for the girls. The only thing I personally won't do is have a huge spoiler, graphics and a cabin full of add-on gauges and crap. Saying that, I must admit that I'm toying with getting rid of my Bomex'd, Veilsided car (see my garage) in favour of a tasteful nice black stocker (with more power) Go for it... G
  20. I have to admit it Jamie - I do, although I'm ashamed to admit it in public and have tried to rid myself of the beastly habit, I just can't help it I thought at my advanced years I would have put it behind me, but then, almost without a thought I find myself doing it again. It's all going to end up in a messy end for me I'm sure I must try not to speed G PS: my advice to you (as it's your money) go for it :-)
  21. Just to save other concerned members who know Ark, he was on the forum this morning and obviously did't mention it, so pleased it's not him
  22. All the best mate... Cheers Gerry
  23. That's really spooky, I just read this and I have a black car, what's more my dentists second name is White, which is the opposite of black Where will it all end G
