I have had very little to do with this guy so dont just take my word for it that he is good, I just got the impression he was. I did ask him to let me know when he gets some good bits in but have heard nothing since then. Has anybody else had trouble as I was going to get him to de restrict my supe.

Yeah he mostly deals in mk3s but he does have a few mk4s most of the time but the good bits go really quick. But if you ever need things like switches and bits he's the man.

May have been the fella who owns the supra breakers in meopham he has a silver one and a white one as well. I live a few minutes from meopham and see him quite often.

Cheers for the support guys I suppose most of us are going to experiance this sort thing at some point. A bloody good detector/jammer will be on my christmas list:) And next time I see one of these vans I will set up signs further along the road to warn people:D

Diving on the M20 a little while ago. Was cruising at about 60 saw a nice clear stretch and put my foot down a bit got to about 95 when the misses says slow down theres a white van on that bridge. Sure enough it was a camera van, does anybody know if they get the fastest speed I was doing or at a certain point as I did slow down very rapidly. I already have 3 points could this be a lost licence I searched previous threads and it seems there is no rule as to how many points e.t.c. Dave F ( currently bricking it!!!)

Should only be a minor thing to sort out if it lights up on the other one then. Goo luck with sorting it out.

Glad to hear it scoot just goes to show how good they are. Not many 10 year old cars go through with such little problems. I know I just had a 94 Escort fail this week for numerous things:mad: . Still the supe went through the last one with no probs:)

I put up a thread about this a couple of weeks ago as my lights seem to work some times and not others (maybe a loose connection) It was titled A/C lights worth looking at as it shows a few examples where lights have been changed to blue, red e.t.c.

Its with tesco's insurance, it was a bit difficult explaining what part was what as she did'nt have a clue but she was still pretty helpful. She said if it was cosmetic and no power increase the premium would not change. At least it will show on my policy that there sre mods (safer that way). I was tempted to do a rolling road test after fitting the items so I can prove it is not more than standard bhp, not just for insurance purposes its just nice to see what power is still left in her:)

Very true as long as I tell them what I have it should be o.k.I am guessing they dont test an engines bhp in the result of an accident, most of the time this would be impossible

Cheers mate they wanted an extra £40 for a up to a 10% increase and that is just for the three months remaining.

I am currently modding my n/a supe with a Blitz nur spec r from Hyperformance and after this a Blitz induction kit. The question is how much will it increase the bhp by. I asked my insurance company and they say if it does not increase bhp it will cost no extra. My arguement is that as an engine gets older it loses its full power (correct me if I'm wrong) so if these mods add say afew bhp it would probably be back near standard power again therefore no increase over standard> Am I right or will this increase the bhp by a fair bit over standard?

When I had the dash out to fit the stereo I looked for loose connections but there were no obvious ones. Has anyone managed to sort this?

It should illuminate when the lights are on (as far as I remember)

Guys Most of the time the illuminated part of the fan and temperature knobs does not light up, but on the odd occasion it will. Not so much when I go over a bump or jolt it just whenever it feels like it. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this and knows how to sort it before I rip it all apart:devil:

Yeah Merc man nearly took me off the road big style I think if the weather had of been better I would have retaliated more,but not worth risking losing it to p**s off a tw*t. Good night had by all methinks:)

Trig, Just driven past loads of signs saying q,s between jct 3 and 4 on the M25 we still on for 6.45 at Dartford if not I will head for Clackets up the A227 M26
