  1. As I am aware the Pentax "approved" lenses that specsavers use are just the standard Single vision lenses that a lot of optical suppliers use and name as their own. In my experience the likes of Hoya, Nikon and Zeiss are far superior than the specsavers own lenses but obviously if on a budget they are OK.
  2. My feedback would'nt have been to good recently as I supplied Matt Harwoods last pair and look at the state of his car .
  3. Don't have that supra anymore still waiting for the right one to come up unfortunately. If you need lenses in the future give me a shout mate
  4. A guy called Ashley, not seen him for a while but don't think he got on with the retail side of optics and wnt back to manufacturing.
  5. A guy I worked with a few years back worked in Bluewater at a Clulow store for a bit don't think he got on too well though . I always recommend people going to the smaller independants such as yours rather than the big stores, much more of a personal service imho.
  6. No website I'm afraid but pm me what you need and the prescription and I'll give you some options.
  7. Who do you work for matey?
  8. I supply about 30 opticians and they pretty much tripple or quadruple the prices I charge, although they do have quite large overheads. It certainly isn't impossible to reglaze most frames unless they are in a real state, but opticians I know will do it at own risk. That said £50 per lens is a bit steep.
  9. You can only polish out very light scratches on non coated lenses but chances are if you can see them without looking up to a light they will be too deep. If you need new lenses in them for a lot cheaper than the optician will charge give me a shout.
  10. Her dad did say to phone pukka pies to see what they would offer
  11. Just the one but easily as scary as a 500bhp supra in winter
  12. Hi guys, After long consideration my other half is putting her much loved horse up for sale as she has found another and cannot really keep both. She is (the horse:)) a 14 year old 15.1 con/tb grey mare. Thought we would put up here as there are a few horsey people about. http://www.horsemart.co.uk/advert/14_yrs_3_mths_15_1_hh_fleabitten_grey_connemara_kent/58383 Cheers

Gotta love some of Party bens stuff http://www.partyben.com/

  17. The other halfs nan has a G plated starlet and pointed out that the fuel needle always registers the tank being full. I looked today and noiced that when the ignition is switched on both the fuel needle and temperature needle both go up as far as possible. Any ideas for a fix as we don't want her to run out of petrol again. Cheers Dave
  18. As the weather gets better I am thinking about the next car. Ideally I want a low mileage TT aerotop in the toyota green (razza's old colour) or possibly in msb. Has anybody ever seen one in the green or am I looking for something that doesn't exist? With regards to the msb I only know of one which as far as I know still belongs to Faye's brother, which I should have bought when Scooter sold it on a few years back.
