    Dangerous dog?

Cheers for all the advice guys, got a muzzle for today and a dog behaviourist coming next week. Along with the vet bills I think its going to be an expensive month but am sure he can change for the better.
  2. Hope somobody can give me a bit of advice on a dog problem. We have a four year old Patterdale/cairn terrior that we have had from a puppy. In the day time he is off the lead at the stables with my partner and gets on great with the dogs that are there with him. Recently he has had a couple of incidents where he has shown aggreesion towards a couple of new puppies and tonight, unfortunately, he bit one of them enough that it looked like stitches will be needed. Up until now we have never had any concerns of him being aggresive but at the moment are not too sure. My partner has been in tears all night not knowing what to do as we could not leave him at home all day but cannot take him to the stables for risk of another attack. Has anyone had experience with dog behavior experts or is this route a waste of time? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Dave
  3. After hearing of a spate of catalytic convertor thefts in the area, today I had a decat fitted. As I wont be needing it now who actually buys them as I was told they could be worth as much as I paid for the decat? Cheers Dave
  4. You need to get as many votes as possible as there are limited places, then you have to make a video for a board to decide whether you are a worthy candidate.
  5. Hi guys, my brother in law is hoping to get a place on thr Tri-city-athlon in September and needs as many votes as possible, so thought I would ask if any of you wouldn't mind spending five minutes to help him out. He is doing it to raise money for the Evelina childrens hospital for kids who have had kidney and liver transplants which is a great cause. Like I said if you get a bit of spare time this weekend he would really apprecate it, you have to register but it doesn't involve getting sent junk mail etc. Thanks guys Dave http://www.eurostartricityathlon.com/home-page%28en%29/view-entry.aspx?id=27353

    PC Help

Just a quick update on this. It seemed that the external drive was the trouble as it kept freezing and not showing all files on the new laptop. All photos did show eventually after disconnecting and reconnecting so I did this each time I copied over a file. All photos done just the music left now!! Thanks for the advice guys

    PC Help

Just by cancelling mate. I originally grouped all my music and photos to one file to copy but it said estimated time would be 15 hours so I then tried to transfer my photos and leave the music until tomorrow, now when I look at my photo folders the files are there but a lot of the actual pictures cannot be found.

    PC Help

Thought I'd ask on here as I'm sure there are a few clued up computer guys who may be able to help. My old laptop packed up so I bought a new one and as explained to me I bought a Hard disk case to get my old photos and music from the removed hard disk. Got past the take ownership stage and all was going well. I started to transfer it all to my new laptop but stopped it midway so I could transfer the files seperately and now only a handful of photos are visible in each folder even though all of the files are there. Please give me some hope that I have not lost a lot of good piccies .
  13. There are many good second hand bikes about for that money as a lot of people use them a few times and give up. If you re worried about the rough stuff get a good light hardtailed frame and buy a suspension seatpost. Don't bother paying more for disc brakes as good v-brakes will be more than adequate for casual riding. Just remember the lighter the better:thumbs:
  14. If its for the L200 try NFU as they cover such vehicles for non commercial use i.e toying horseboxes etc. Be careful with some companies as they let you use your private no claims bonus but when it comes to going back to a normal car again they wont let you carry it over. Elephant quoted me well on an L200, they class it as a non commercial and let you carry on your no claims but for some reason wont allow you to drive other cars on the policy.

    Ebay down?

Working better but not 100%. If I type in kit car nothing comes up for cars for sale whereas earlier it did. Giving up now:(
  17. Ahh I see, sorry I thought you meant standard RX8 wheels. These should fit fine with the correct spigot rings but the offsets may not be correct for the perfectionists.
  18. No mate, as in width I believe they are 8x18 all round.
  19. An old member called Chris SZ had them on his a few years back and didn't seem to have any problems, but as far as keeping things as they should be sizewise they are wrong.
  20. The stud pattern is the same, as for offsets probably not. They are also not staggered sizes but they do fit HTH
