Well after my braking issues last week I ordered a master cylinder overhaul kit (92 pounds before discount). Stripped down the above mentioned item to fit the new seals etc and compared the old with the new. I was expecting to see a lot of worn down rubber, as the resevoir was a very dirty black colour, but could'nt see much in the way of wear, what do you guys think? (The old ones are at the top with the tape around them).
Also there seemed to be a bolt missing above the piston stop bolt on the cylinder bodywhen I removed it, and the kit contained two new bolts. Is the other one for the empty hole? Any help or sarcastic comments welcome.
