Yeah I was thinking of you this morning heading to work. Thats the thing with trackdays in this country even in the summer you cant guarantee the weather. A few of us did one in December at brands and got fantastic weather.

. Bit of a chav fest but there were a few things worth seeing. Glad I stayed over in the end, apart from having to move my tent in my shorts at 4 in the morning due to a certain Events organizers snoring from the next tent:). Same time next year guys?

If thats you're budget dont go for anyting full suspension, as it will be heavy, and standard v brakes will be more than adequate. You are best off going for a hybrid as cheeky monkey has said from halfords preferably aluminium. Nice thin wheels with road tyres also. I cant talk really as I use a marin downill bike when riding to work:rolleyes:

Have you had your cambelt changed recently, this happened to mine about a week after the belt change. It seems garages not in the know use heat to remove the pulley bolt thus leading to failure of the pulley.

What with the cold weather soon to be approaching (sorry to bring it up) I am thinking of having my wall cavities insulated, does this make a noticable difference to the feel of the house in the winter? Ive just added an extra layer of insulation to the loft as well so that should help. I cant stand a chilly house!

He did say that if I'm going on the Thames there will be a few spotchecks at certain locks. Bloody pay enough to go on roads now I have to pay to float up a river:)

Yeah I spoke to the shop who said the BCU will cost £30 but there is something you can get from the enviorment agency thats cheaper, he said to check their website.
