  1. Try Elephant, came in cheaper than sky for myself.
  2. Gone all out this year, taking the other half to see Dirty Dancing then off to a hotel in Kensington, more for her than me but better than going to a packed pub for the sake of it I sppose.
  3. The large bolts both slide out differently i.e one towards the back of the car and one towards the front. The one that slides towards the front needs to have the arch lining removed but thats about it. Maybe the remaining bolt was put in from the wrong side at some point (cant think why though)
  4. Managed to get tickets for Dirty Dancing and a hotel in London for the night, more for the misses as I would rather be at the O2 for Headkandi. Still it'll be a nice suprise for her.
  5. 2 x Astras Renault 5 Turbo (Great car) Peugeot 205 CTI (Hairdressers car:)) Fiat X1/9 Toyota MR2 Toyota Supra
  6. Get those side repeaters de oranged mate, it'll make so much difference
  7. Weathers looking ok matey should be fun:D
  8. Thanks very much matey
  9. While you have the gearbox out I would really appreciate it if you possibly photograph and point out the fluid fill point and drain point. I really am tempted to do what you are doing over the winter in my unit. I love tinkering with cars and would get a lot of satisfaction out of it. Keep up the good work fella Dave
  10. Are we going to manage all the tunnels this time? . Was a blast last time especially going through Kensington.
  11. 1. downimpact 2. Havard 3. Supradibbs 4. Pete 5. Vaderman 6. Dave F
  12. Did this when I first got mine indoors and took a chunk out of one of my kitchen units.. Mrs Dave was not a happy bunny
  13. Fitted one to trigs car a few months back, took about an hour as it was a bit fiddly. I think he was pleased with the results and did'nt mention any problems getting it into gear. Not a tough job though.
  14. Ironically it was the same garage who fixed it as the place that did the cambelt, they failed to mention that it was because of them (no suprise). I only found out it was common after joining the forum. You live and learn ay.
  15. The labour cost wasn't massive fella, but the part was ordered from toyota by the garage, before I was on this site where you can get bits cheaper:)
  16. Happened to mine just after I had the cambelt changed, if I remember correctly it cost me around £250-£300 to get sorted. Most of the cost was the actual pulley.
  17. Well seeing as everyone else has, here's mine. Been offered good money for it but feel I would miss it too much if I get rid... never felt like this about a car before.
  18. Did you per chance do the lottery tonight as well?? If so check your numbers now
