  1. When me fiesta's insurance was due for renewal last year I was quoted £251 through sky on a mirror policy, slightly dearer than the previous year which I was none to pleased about. I changed to elephant who got me the same cover for nearly £100 less. I have just received my renewal from Sky for the supra and it has come in at £676. (n/a, 9 years no claims, 33 year old and no points) I thought this was pretty bad so tried elephant who quoted me £450. My question is has anybody had problems with elephant, and am I wrong to be moaning about £676.
  2. Not going to be able to get to this either guys. I must admit I prefered the Tuesday evening meets especially in the summer with the warm evening drives. Happy birthday Ian hope to catch up with you and Sheena and all the other guys soon.
  3. Certainly better than Essex boys although I do like that film as well.
  4. Damn been caught out crossdressing again . No can't have been me nobody has spotted me in my four years of ownership:(
  5. Hi guys does anybody have the fittings that the dipped and main beam bulbs fit into i.e the plastic bits of the actual wiring loom. Cheers Dave
  6. Yeah quite a straighforward job as long as you have all the bits needed. Though mine is wired up to go up and down by the switch rather than speed sensitive.
  7. I certainly would'nt doubt it if Mr Wilson had done it.
  8. Its also worth having a good look for a split on the hose or a crack in the rad, maybe underneath out of sight.
  9. I may be wrong but should'nt the coolant be the toyota red forlife rather than the green forlife.
  10. Bad the first time I'll admit but second time around no problems.
  11. Cost wise that sounds like a basic fluid change service without a cambelt change to me.
  12. Yeah, not sure what to go for as I will be working on the car so need something hardwearing and easy to clean.
  13. Looks like you sold it then mate, sorry to see.
  14. Cup of tea for the big fella:)
  15. Had those guys around last year I politely told them I would rather get my Nan to do it, I'd had a bad day:)
  16. Slopes to the left of the house it is all grass at the moment and would probably go for block paving.
  17. Looking to get my driveway done this spring has anybody any idea how much it is likely to cost for the block paving, roughly about 18-20 square metres, as I have absolutely no idea.
  18. Thanks for your help guys. Chris what do you charge for the exchange item. Need to check it is definately on its way out this weekend.
  19. Can anybody tell me whether the TT steering pump is the same as the N/A version. Thanks in advance Dave
  20. I had the same damp seatbelt problem and it turned out to be water coming in through the rear side window. I removed the trim inside and used silicone and also put some clear silicone on the outside in the guttering. Worked a treat. As for the door has the plastic liner been removed and are the drain holes blocked at the bottom?
  21. Am I the only childish one that started giggling when I saw the name?
