  1. During my degree course it allows me to play with industral machines which make drugs and fresh willing patients to test them on.
  2. Partly correct, some degree will open doors for example to be a doctor, dentist, pharmacist it is by law that you have a degree in your field before you are allow to take their registration exam. Some profession there is no way you can just get in by doing it in the real world without going through Uni then there are some degree which do nothing more than teaching you how to read a few text book and answer some multiple choice exam.....
  3. I don't follow these thread but ready to pay and was in orginal thread, please some one pm me once taking order and taking payments

  10. how about this one? Thinking of getting one for myself http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=20001&catalogId=1500000701&langId=-1&searchTerms=1673838&cmpid=HB126_ARG1
  11. Very nice, looks like it just came out from the show room first time. Good luck
  12. Agree 100% I remember when I was in uni and I rented a flat with my gf (now wife) for a few years. when we move in he was driving a fiat hatchback banger, 3 years on he come and collect rent in his 911 turbo and demanded a rent increase.
  13. So I repeat, the right time to buy is when you have 40% deposit I never said it was easy or everyone can do it. With 40% deposit you benefit from having the best possible rate available. You only lose money if you are force to sell and selling when the market is bad, therefore the don't need to move in the next 5 years part in my post. Real loser in the market are those who can't afford the repayment and those who get a mortgage without thinking if their income are secure enough to take the risk. So what if the house market drop by another 20% if you can afford the mortgage repayment the house prices are irrelevant just like paying rent. The only difference is that if you can't keep out the rent you get kick out without any debts.
  14. That is why I said the right time to buy is when you have 40% deposit and not need to move for next 5 years. The bank own the house until you paid it off completely, but if you are paying rent you get nothing back. Nothing...
  15. paying rent is like working for landlord, this go back many hundreds of years of history. Once you up the ladder then other people work for you. We live in a capitalism world therefore money make money. I am totally against renting regardless of what the market is like, unless is a council house which you pay silly money with benefit claim
  16. don't know whats the market rate for rent at St John Woods but if rent is 1000 per month then in 6 years time the rent will cover the loss anyway. Plus the flat will defo worth more than 270k in 6 years time. Rent is like paying someone else mortgage
  17. Its the right time to buy if you have 40% deposit and won't need to sell for at least 5 years.
  18. hi, Question to anyone have air condition unit installed at home, is it good? did it require planning permission to install? My snooker room is built and I want to install heating and air to air heat exchange seems to be the most efficient way to heat the building. Room size is about 45m2 thinking about getting one for the main house too as it heat and cools so will be excellent for summer heat wave. benson

Came accross this today, who needs a billboard?
  21. Since you are renting I would just call landlord to come and fix it, especially if you don't know what you doin. There should be stopclock on two pipes into the bolider and both should always be cold, if you open both it top up the internals of the bolider and there should be a guage showing the pressure in bar. Call your landlord, thats what they are for!
