  1. The sun finally shone so I've put the car in the new classifieds section along with a few photos and links to others, I expect I will put it up on ebay this evening. http://www.mkivsupra.net/pp-classifieds/showproduct.php?product=30&sort=2&cat=7&page=1
  2. With this in mind do you think ebay would let me sell my husband This Supra TT just reached 5500 which is a bit better http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4559069221
  3. Strange but true Not a TT but targa which is rare I can't find the ones I've been watching but I've seen 3 TT's not reach their reserves in the last couple of weeks only achieving between 4000 and 4500
  4. Hi China. That's whats worrying me, I'm selling because of redundancy and I need the money, just seems like life is out to get me at the moment. I have to sell the house as well and house buyers in our area seem to have dissapeared overnight Still I suppose I can always sleep in the supra when the mortgage company take the house
  5. I meant the substantial drop in the last 6 months, they were between 10-12K about 6 months ago and are lucky to reach 4K on ebay at the moment
  6. I've just checked autotrader and the prices there are low too. This whole price drop issue is quite perplexing
  7. Thank you very much, my husband fitted it for me and he's done a fair few installs so it sounds great
  8. Extremely fond of music the ICE is essential to enjoy it, I like the quality of sound but to get good quality the system needs to be able to handle a lot of power hence the ICE install in the supra. Although it would damage the speakers you could probably make your ears bleed with this install
  9. have a few interior photo's, I'm cleaning the outside today so I should have them tomorrow morning Its a 1994 L reg import it has an HKS Hi-Power Muffler (it's big and loud) Its silver and an auto (with overdrive and ECTis). I need to do the proper calculation but it's done approx 80K The boot houses 2x 12inch subs and a 1000W amp running them. There are four 180watt SPL component speaker systems in the car and an Alpine CD head unit. The ICE is very loud . http://babylon-sl.com/supra/b.jpg http://babylon-sl.com/supra/a.jpg http://babylon-sl.com/supra/c.jpg Ohh found a recent exterior picture although it was taken in dark wet conditions so she doesn't look her best:P http://babylon-sl.com/supra/12.jpg I would like to get £9995 for her and I think she is well worth it. Hope this helps
  10. How to spend thousands turning your Supra into a lawnmower
  11. I'm thinking of selling my Supra but I have been watching ebay and the prices are really low. Anyone have any thoughts why this is? Also if anyone wants to pay over the apparent odds for an L reg Supra TT with full veilside then let me know I'll post it up for sale in a few days. It also has a wicked ICE install which is included (v.loud)
  12. Did anything ever happen about this as I would be interested in learning how my car handles in a safer environment than the road
  13. I could do with a set of glass headlights, mine a bit discoloured, although price is an issue.
  14. Just reading your threads and wondering - Did I get a good deal? - or was I ripped off ( not that I care hugely as I love it - but owuld be nice to know) L reg tt supra, full veilside kit (yummy!) Induction kit aftermarket exhaust- sounds - well - damn sexy but loud! is auto cost me 10K
  15. I think the game would be more enjoyable if it was split up into classes so that only the mods really made a difference. Also the system used to work out the benefits from the mods is very basic. For example I have bought polycarbonate windows for the F1 and it has lowered the weight (go figure) Also I'm fairly sure a turbo charger for and F1 car would be considerably more expensive than one for a supra.
  16. I've got the F1 ferrari but no one will race me so it is probably a bit of a waste of time. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before the site owner includes thrust ssc and then I might get a challenger
  17. Hello all If you fancy racing a virtual supra? then have a look at Ash Racing It's a bit of fun for 5 minutes each day. Cheers wicked-wench
  18. You're welcome. I've done another version as well. The movment is smoother but the image is a bit grainier. http://babylon-sl.com/celica/smooth-small-sigimg.gif Choice is yours
  19. Here you go then its small enough to use in s lot of forums 20K and 80 pixels tall, I had to remove 2 in every 3 frames and limit it to 64 colours to make it small enough but it still gets the message across Enjoy boys: http://babylon-sl.com/celica/really-small-sigimg3.gif
  20. What is the maximum avatar size of this forum?
  21. Same happened to me I was going a bit too fast and noticed blue lights in the distance behind me so I slowed right down. They turned off the lights and followed me off the motorway. They didnt stop me but just glared at me a lot must have been gutted to let one get away
  22. Forgot to mention Scottish police will sometimes have men in seperate towns/villages that have straight roads in between and they will report to each other the reg numbers and times of cars that they expect will speed down the straight road. They know the distance, time of departure and time of arrival so they can get average speed. Copper in the next village stops you and does you for speeding...... sneaky huh
  23. The cameras are expensive so they only buy a few and move them around. Because of this it is possible to speed trough there for your whole life and never get caught but is purely down to luck. I remeber that a few years ago Oxfordshire had 120 gatso camera boxes (the grey things) and only 10 cameras which were moved around. They also had some flash units without cameras to fit in the boxes so that you are flashed but no picture is taken. It's worth noting that in certain places you can be caught speeding by helicopter. You will see a big white square in the road and another a little further on. These are a fixed distance apart and the helicopter times you in between them and gets your average speed. You're pretty safe on this one as flight time is too expensive to bother. The squares can be used by police cars who are following you too. How long will it be before your GPS unit reports directly to the police when you are speeding? This is perfectly achieveable and cheap now. Remeber that if you see the blue flashing lights in the distance behind you.... SLOW DOWN they are usually chasing you for an average speed and to get that they have to catch up before you slow down.
  24. Made the picture just a teeny bit smaller, should have checked before I posted
  25. My current car is insured by Liverpool Victoria (its a celica ST202 import). The Supra's due at the end of July. I was recently (about 8 months ago) on the inside of a lorry when it made a left hand turn and shunted me of the road. They still haven't found the lorry (which drove off) despite this happening on Hammersmith Broadway which is swarming with CCTV and my giving them the registration, so I have had to fork out the excess for the repairs which were really poor quality (I'm still arguing with them about that. I would steer clear of them if I were you. Here's a picture of the original damage if you fancy a laugh: http://babylon-sl.com/celica/1.jpg
