  4. i got this mad idea in my head and cant get rid of it, so hoping people can put me off. Right then, essentially it is to totally customise the electronics side. By this i mean; Take out the turbo timer, radio and heat controls and replace them with a computer with touch screen. Also included in this would be a diagnostics package, turbo readout on the screen, with all the other little bits to give me power info etc. cheers Rob S

  9. have done and tho i f**ked up the pipework to begin with the controller was working bang on up till putting the fron two pipes on. this literally happened overnight. now i have a restrictor ring in and had before but now the ring has moved forward in the pipe from the back section to the end of the 1st decat pipe, would that make a difference, do i need a smaller diameter restrictor ring? i got the ring from Paul Whiffin with the exhaust and i'm pretty sure he knows what hes doin even if i dont!!! keep on helping, cheers Rob S

Looking thru the info i got when i bought me soop and saw that the guy advertised that she had a TORSEN LSD, is that the standard or is it a/m?? and 2ndly is it any good??. cheers Rob S
  11. did as i always do and turned her back to standard to c but although she puases at 0.8 after 10 secs or so she blasts straight thru. now i have checked the hoses over and over and am right out of ideas. help much appreciated, cheers Rob S
  12. recently got around to putting the 3 inch decat pipes on my system, previously had a 3 inch pipe from just after the turbo (was welded on after the front cat came off), i've got a restrictor ring in and had before but for some reason shes 'ignoring' the controller and just maxing out, i think she'll o to 1.5 bar but came off the throttle at 1.4, even when the contrllers in off which should bring the boost back down to about 0.8. any ideas, i changed the vaccuum pipes recently and she was working fine just before the swap, can the increase from 2inch to 3 inch pipe for the 1st 3inches be such a difference. cheers Rob S

  19. check the pipe leading to the pressure tank, behind the injection side of the engine, 2 small pipes, they caused me a load of problems with mine leaking boost all over the place. if ur still standard seq then find Ian C and go to his website, loads of pic of whatand where the pipes are and lead. good luck Rob

  21. OK, i have just found the problem after a good two full days, fitting it in round work, and i must say; Ian - ur pics showed me the way!! it was the two pipes going into the pressure tank. hadn't picked up on them before cause i could bl**dy find the tank but after much shouting, blood letting and staring at that picture of the tank i finally found the 8 and so when i felt round the back of the engine for it the pipes poked out to b counted!!! Hope there's no set way they have to put back on cause i just placed them on as i felt. Thanks for the help, Rob S
  22. I've got D4 SUP, came with the car so no real worries, but i was well impressed when i popped down to a mates garage the other week and saw a 300ZX, fully kitted out with; L300 BYE
