    Computer desks

I've got a 740mm desk which I find a bit high. What height desk does everyone else have?

    Computer desks

What do you guys think is the ideal height for a computer desk?
  5. There's load of IR35 online calculators. Hit google to find them.
  6. You should look into IR35. If you fall under IR35 it will be about 40% tax I think.
  7. As the title says, I’m looking for a kitten. I’ve been looking on a few websites but thought I would give this place ago first. I’m based in Berkshire but don’t mind travelling to Surrey and Hampshire. Thanks
  8. £57.50 will include the HD stuff which won't need if you only want Sky +. It should only be £47.50 without HD

    Home Gyms

That Smith multigym look like a very nice. I can already see this costing lots of money.

    Home Gyms

Cardio is the main thing but weight training maybe twice a week. I've just got myself a decent bike, but I'm crap at dealing with cold weather hence the running machine for the winter months and rainy days. I'm not sure I could justify spending big on the weights as cardio is more my thing. How much for middle of the range weights and bench? I take it Argos is not the best place to look either?

    Home Gyms

Overall fitness and maybe tone up a little. I'm not over weight but I would say that me general fitness is poor, so I would just want to slowly improve this.

    Home Gyms

I’m thinking of turning my garage into a home gym. I was think of putting a multi gym, running machine and a punch bag in there, but this is still just an idea and I’ve made no real plans, so if anyone has a home gym please post some details and pic’s to help inspire me

    Computer desks

lol, it must have really started pi$$ing you off by now. I've only looked in 2 shops and a few hours online, but have found nothing. I found one desk which looks great but is just to big. http://www.homeofficeworld.co.uk/supersize/images/big/TWS-FY-F9273.jpg

    Computer desks

Also what gaming mouse mats do you guys use?
  16. I’ve just brought myself a new gaming rig but I’m having a few troubles finding a decent computer which suits my needs. What I’m after is a desk that can hold a 24” monitor and also has a decent space for keyboard and large gaming mouse mat. Most the desks I’ve seen have a sliding out keyboard and mice tray which don’t have the space for the mouse mat. The desk can be no wider than 130cm I would be most grateful if anyone has any recommendations and could post any pictures of your desks and rigs. Cheers
  17. The river cruise is very good. I worked in London for a few years and still found it very interesting.

    Good Spec PC?

    Cool, thanks for the advise

    Good Spec PC?

So what if I got the ASUS STRIKER II FORMULA S/L 1333FSB (NVIDIA 780i) mobo and put 4GB DDR2 in there and then just upgrade the RAM at a later date, would that be ok?

    Good Spec PC?

    Mobo changed to ASUS P5N-D S/L 1333FSB (NVIDIA 750i)

    Good Spec PC?

Good points. I did not add a second HD as I wanted to keep the price down and I will have very little data on this PC worth worrying about. Also I went for this mobo as it was cheap and supported DDR3, but you’re right it does not make a lot of sense to have onboard graphics.

    Good Spec PC?

Right after doing bit of thinking here's the spec I'm thinking about: Computer Case: NZXT - Lexa Blackline Red CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 (4 x 2.66 GHZ) 1333FSB - 12 MB Motherboard: ASUS P5E-V HDMI S/V/L 1333FSB (Intel G35) Memory: Corsair XMS2 4GB DDR2 PC-6400 800 MHZ (2 x 2 GB 800) - Lifetime Warranty Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GX2 - 1 GB - 2xDVI/VGA/HDMI (EVGA) Power Supply: ThermalTake W0106RB 700W TOUGHPOWER CABLE MANAGEMENT BLK Hard Drive 1: 750 GB SATA HDD UDMA 300 7200 32MB Optical Drive: 1 Samsung DVD +/-RW 18x6x18x8 D/LAYER Black (IDE) Sound Card: Motherboard Integrated 5.1 All the main components are DDR3 compatible. I'v opted for DDR2 RAM for now to keep the costs down plus I don't mind upgrading this in the future. Do you think the graphics card is over kill? Anyone recommend an alternative?
