  1. That's right and the games are free if you know where to look
  2. That's not right. My girlfriend has one and we just got the back box replaced. The Cat section can be expensive though when it needs doing.
  3. If so what servers do you play on? Thanks, Alan
  4. Totally agree with Xeon 2, I used to love this game
  5. I drove past one in Wokingham this afternoon
  6. Nursing the mother of all hangovers. Had an interesting time keeping my breakfast down, might go back to bed.

    Left 4 Dead

I've not played it single player yet It's a great multiplayer experience if you’re in a team working together

    Left 4 Dead

Anyone else playing this game? Downloaded it from Steam for £14 at the weekend and I'm hooked, best fun I've had since BF2. If anyone wants to hook up for a game let me know your Steam name
  11. Cheers, I'll send him a PM on monday
  12. Cheers guys. We're fully insured, so just hope that we don't have any issues with the claim. We put so much into this house and now we're back to square one. The girlfriend has been crying on and off all day and she’s 4 months pregnant so really does not need this. Burglar alarm is defo on the cards but not sure which ones are any good. Not sure I could continue to live here if it happened again.
  13. Returned home from a week’s holiday last night to find the patio door smashed through with a brick and loads of stuff taken including 2.5k worth of Jewellery, the girlfriend has taken it real hard. It’s a horrible feeling knowing that someone has been in our house and helped themselves to our belongings which we’ve worked so hard for. Looking to invest in some home security, anyone got any recommendations?
  14. I used to live just round the corner in Alexandra Road. Not seen that car before though.

    Supra value

I didn't know they made facelift Aero's outside the US
  16. Besure you check any hotel out on http://www.tripadvisor.com/ before you book
  17. I stayed 2 nights in the Swissotel in Temple. Nice hotel, great location for all of central London. Go for the premium river view room like I did as you get a great view of the river, Houses of Parliament and of the London Eye. It will only set you back about £200 a night which is very good for that part of London. http://www.swissotel.com/EN/Destinations/United%20Kingdom/Swissotel%20The%20Howard/Hotel%20Home/Hotel%20Home.htm
  18. That's what I was thinking. Applications will need to be coded to take advantage of this new architecture. I can't see many current desktop apps needing this sort of power as most don’t utilize current quad core processors, but could benefit the corporate environments significantly. I wonder how PC games could benefit from this
  19. Has anyone heard much about this? As far as I can tell this new breed of processors are using some kind of Nvidia graphic card processor which is apparently x250 faster than current Intel architecture??? I also heard that Dell will be selling these new PC’s later this year. I wonder if they will need a new version of Windows? If not and they can run under the current Win x64 I can see this kicking off.
  20. Sounds about perfect to me, although the exported London Gin (47%) can be fun, but tastes know where near as nice and Bombay .
  21. I normally steer clear of Norton. I used to run it years ago till I got pissed off with it slowing down my PC causing problems with my internet connection. A work colleague gave me a copy of their new 2009 version and I've been very impressed with so far, very light weight and non- intrusive. It has a task manager style graph showing the system resources it's using.
  22. AVG is rubbish. My Dad had it running and viruses went straight through it. I installed Symantec Internet Security 2009 and it does a great job. It does not hog your system resources like the old versions. I have End Point Security at work seems ok, but it's not as light and not a complete package for home use and Internet Security 2009.
