  1. Hi Hoff, The irony is, after stopping to see about the wounded, the badger just walked away. Absolutely bullet-proof (unlike my car). Chatted to Sky this morning, they tell me that there will be a 10% increase in my premum next year. Added to that the excess and I'm looking at change from £300. What's a bloke to do? I've been in touch with the traders and not many have anything in stock, so it could be that I wait up to 5 weeks for a new replacement or fix it. oh brother! Gaz
  2. 5 mins from home and..."bang!" A badger decides to cross the road. Looking at my options it's either get the front repaired or go through the insurance and (hopefully) get it changed for something diferent! It never rains but it pours.

    Newby Here

Good luck in your search. Hope to see on here with pics of your new purchase.
  4. Such sad news. My thought are with his family.
  5. You're not wrong there! I wonder if we'll see highlights on 'Police Camera Action'? Mine too! They won't know what they've got until they're behind the wheel. If it's an NA they'll probably just smash it into a wall out of frustration eh!
  6. Whilst driving up to North Wales late on Friday night, I was stopped by the 'boys in blue'. I thought I was surely going to see my license disappear (as I was pushing the rev counter!), but no. Phew! The nice officer (a dog handler who was pushing his Ford Focus to the max to catch up with me after about 4 miles), explained that car criminals are operating in and around the NW and Cheshire area. That's why he gave chase. He thought my car was stolen. They are stealing high performance cars and driving them to Holyhead, where they are put into containers and shipped abroad. So good people, you have been warned. Lock down your cars, make sure they're alarmed or hide them away safe, 'cos you might wake up in the morning to find your pride and joy gone! Gaz
  7. I'm just a bit further down the M6 towards Middlewich. My home is in Winsford, not far from Warrington. Welcome to the club.
  8. Got a set of these - Diavaletto 17" wrapped in very good Eagle F1 tyres. Jay has them at present, but if they're not sold they're yours if you want them (for some green of course). Cheers, Gaz
  9. Hi Paul, I've been away for a while...but now I'm back in the club! I did a swap for a pair Gareth Eaves had. I still have his the old pair. (Soz Gaz!). Slightly yellow plastic ones but no leaks. If Gareth Eaves agrees, then you could be the new owner of the pair. Let me know (or Gaz Eaves) and we'll sort something out. Cheers. Happy New Year.
  10. What do you need artworking? I'm still busy working, but could knock up artwork if it was reasonably small. Currently run OS9 & OSX (quark illustrator, photoshop etc) ...you know the score SupraStar! Email me at [email protected] Let me know what, why, how, when... Gaz
  11. Depends where you go. Most places will split the rims down to their 3 parts, repair the damage and re-fit. They'll probably charge you for new rivets too, as the old ones will have to be drilled out. Maybe see if they can mask off the inner wheel while the outer part is refurbed. That way you save money. I can't recommend anyone, as the bloke I took mine to in Ross-On-Wye was a waste of time. I'm currently looking to have two of my 19's done. Good luck, Gaz
  12. Hi Pixelfill (or should it be 'Studio Max' or 'Rhino'?) Obviously you're in the world of rendering, yes? Could have been me heading South around 6pm. Just finished freelancing in Warrington and came off at Jcn 19 to head for Northwich. Was it a silver veilside with 'bling 19" deep dish' with the roar of a lion. Gaz
  13. If you have no luck, speak to Ray. Gaz
  14. You've got some spare cash now then! Catch up soon mate, Gaz
  15. Count me in too! Also newbie Ben from my neck of the woods. Need a lot of notice though. Gaz (2)
  16. Sorry to read/see the damage, but as mentioned earlier, it's not too bad. If you're after another cover for the vent, email Chase on here, as I sold both sides vents to him and I know he only needs one. Not sure which side he used though. He could post it down to you, they're only plastic so shouldn't cost a fortune. Good luck. Gaz
  17. Go to http://www.purple-paw.co.uk We use these all the time. You can register a personal hosting for £25 a year, which includes 40MB disk space and a free .co.uk domain name when you register. Very cheap! Make them aware that you want both together though or you'll miss out. they also provide an excellent trouble shooting service should you have any technical issues. Really friendly! See how you get on. Cheers, Gaz
  18. Now SOLD! I'll put them in the car ready for Monday. I don't want coins either, just notes Chase! Cheers, Gaz
  19. Did you buy it from Car Transplants about 2 weeks ago? Gaz
  20. Blimey, you ARE still alive! Long time no hear...speak...see! Us North Westerners are all getting together over the summer, so pop along matey! Date to be arranged. Keep you posted. You're always welcome and it'll be good to see you after sooooooooooooo long. Gaz
  21. Gaz, what route are you planning? You could do a shoot at several locations around old mills and/or countryside, rolling hills and the like! I'll try and get hold of those other two near me and we'll convoy to a meeting zone on route. Later, Gaz
  22. Nic, How about spraying it silver first, then your desired colour over the top. Then you can cut the top layer of paint back over the lettering to reveal the silver! Shall I get my coat? Gaz
  23. Yeh, very nice engine you got ther Paul mac! Nice to see some new faces too, Ben - not a member YET! (red supe with no rear fin), Ian, Brian M, Paul Mac but no Ray..hmmm, what's he up to? Supe turnout was small amongst the 200SX, 300SX, etc etc. We must get MORE Supes down there... Chase: I'll bring those side vents next meet. Later, Gaz
