  1. LMFAO. Hear hear! I'd probably just open the door and shoot the b*st*rd! 4 years ago someone I knew received payment in full from his client, then declared himself bankrupt. When it came to paying me, there was nothing left. To add insult to injury. Not only did I not get paid for all my work, but the printing company took ME to court as they had a verbal agreement with me. That little lot cost me 10K. I then sold my debt to some 'meat heads' who went to visit him. He paid them (through fear) and they never got in touch with me nor did I see the dosh. I lost 3K for selling the debt on. Live and learn (but it's aways the hard way) Gaz
  2. Glad you got it sorted. If in the short term the problem returns, take it to the one who knows best 'Chris Wilson'. I can meet you there and you can stop at my house while Chris is sorting it out. Free food and board. Food for thought anyway. Gaz
  3. Could be right James. Unless my speedo conversion is still tripping in KPH those are the numbers that glow in the window. You've got ME thinking now! I know that on a 'heavy' motorway run I'm getting about 6MPG. But around town etc. I would imagine about 14-20MPG. Confused...Gaz
  4. N/S lower arch lining (with vent) If anyone going to JAE spots on the new 'For Sale Board' (thanks Branners) a N/S lower section arch lining, I would be grateful if they could let SUPRAFAN72 know, as he will be bringing my wing mirrors back from JAE. Toyota want £54.23 for the little bit of plastic, and that's not even the gold plated one either! Cash waiting. Many thanks in advance. Gaz
  5. Depends on the weight of your right foot! Sensible driving = more MPG I throw in £25 quid of unleaded, (not to drag around the extra weight of fuel with a full tank), and I get approx 180 miles (long runs and traffic). But, as soon as I keep the 'pedal to the metal' on a long run, it'll only take me 80'ish miles to get rid of £25 worth doing 100+. Gaz
  6. Sorry about your accident. I only know bodyshops in Wales & M/cr. Hope you get it sorted. Gaz
  7. Cheers Ian, but I'll opt for Warrington (a bit closer and more direct). Thanks for the offer though. Might even meet up sometime for a mini meet. Cheers, Gaz
  8. Sounds like a plan to me! If you don't mind that would be great. Gaz1 will need paying £30 but i will reinburse you when we meet up (along with petrol money). Give me a ring when it's a good time to meet up. I'm around all weekend and some days during next week. Mobile 07967 811902 Thanks again, Gaz
  9. Where's that near? Never heard of that place before. I'll google map it... Me thinks Breadbury nr Stockport...Right?
  10. Hi mate. Winsford, in between Northwich and Middlewich. Where's home for you?
  11. I've bought a pair of wing mirrors from Gaz1 and because I am unable to attend JAE because of a badger-bashed supe, I was wondering (lump in throat) if anyone from the Cheshire area was going could pick them up from Gaz1 who'll be there. Petrol money included for the effort. Any takers? Cheers, Gaz (07967 811902)
  12. After my fight with 'the badger' the other day, I've realised he took out the N/S wheel arch liner too (lower section with the vent in it). Anyone got one of these lying around the garage? WING MIRROR NOW SORCED - Thanks to Gaz1 Cheers, Gaz
  13. Sorry to read of your loss. The memories will last through your time and you will pass them onto your kids. Never forgotten. Gaz
  14. Hi mate, nothing really to check on an NA. All supes are bullet proof. A great deal more attention is required for the TT though, so you should be safe. Common problem is dash warning lights (top right - oil, engine) faulty wiring at the plug end. Easy fix though. Check for 'overspray' (tell-tale sign of previous damage and repair). Try and get a look at the paperwork to give you an indication of the score for the car. Kind of like 'marks out of ten' in the import world. All imports have this marking system. I forget the 'actual' term used. Someone on here will no doubt tell you and add their own comments. Good luck anyway. Look forward to seeing some of your pics if you decide to have it. I have an NA and had no problems. Third year on the run needing nothing for the MOT. I only drop the oil every 6K. Fab! Cheers, Gaz
  15. I hear what you say Neil, but it shouldn't cost an arm and a leg (only a few fingers) LMAO! I get mine brought over from Germany and France via http://mytyres.co.uk. Larger rears from Germany - EAGLE F1 GS-D3 265/30 R19 93Y £318.40 a pair all in, inc delivery to my door! Fronts from France - EAGLE F1 GS-D3 235/35 R19 91Y - £307.80 a pair all in, inc delivery to my door! I'm riding on 19" Ultralites - a bit of tramlining now and again, but handles 100% better than stock 17's. Fit under arches without the need for rolling them on stock suspension. Very happy I made the change. Gaz
  16. When you've got rid of your rear fog and converted the rear lights, get some clear indicators and maybe tint those too and a great big noisy tube for the rear. Dark and moody! Very nice example. Nice wheels too. Lucky it was only a magpie and not a seagul or worse... ...a badger! (I can feel myself swelling up again...lump in throat!) Gaz
  17. I've just had an email back from them. In stock now - Bomex and Top Secret In 8 weeks they'll have Do luck Phase 1 and 2 Hmmmm, what do I do? Stick mine together with tape and wait or...? Gaz
  18. Currently got a smashed Veilside C1 front bumper (with badger stripes), looking to change it for one of these; http://www.do-luck.co.uk/jza80type1.htm Before anyone jumps in with..."anything is better than a veilside". There! Beat you to it. Opinions please. Should I or shouldn't I? Gaz
  19. Thanks for the kind words! I agree. Plastic ones are sh1t, and yes they need a clean. It wasn't dark though but I am blind. I use the 'cat's eyes' in the road to make sure I'm not drifting off to the right and the kerb for the left. LMFAO
  20. Nice one Gerry. I still have that hurt inside though. Is there room for two people in your tank? Can I operate the gun? Have you got any badger piercing shells? What replacement front have you got on the supe now? Gaz
  21. i think there is more mileage in the other pic... "I was only stood by the monkey enclosure for a few seconds before they all 'jerked off'. Lucky they only got it on my clothes and not on my face!"
  22. In the words of Pinocchio: "...I've got no strings to hold me up.."
  23. I can't even claim off the badger as he walked off. Surely that's a crime in itself! There should be a law against such things. I'd reconise him in a line up though. Big, fat, missing a few teeth and with fiberglass in his fur. LMFAO Gaz
