  1. Cylinder head looks stunning, all built up ready for the build to start. Just need to buy a couple more bits (COP kit etc) b6a422de-2f4d-4690-abd8-f4f088c71763.mp4
  2. All of my Black Friday goodies arrived - There is more parts I just didn’t photo (ARP Headbolts, GTE Headgasket, Oil Pump, Timing Belt etc etc) 90% of the bits here now so the VVTI head has been sent off with V202-D Cams, KVS02-BT Springs & Retainers & GSC Stem Seals to set up the clearances etc. Soon be time to pull the engine…
  3. Ahh fair play so turbo & forge at the same time??
  4. What power were you before being built?
  5. Yee fair play aha, I keep worrying about stock bottom end tbf but I’m sure it’ll be fine & yeah aha. I feel so close but also so far from it actually being done
  6. could be whp vs my crank I guess? and won't be here until the new year unfortunately Thank youuu
  7. I thought so tbf & thank you, I have bought some spicy parts on black friday so as soon as they arrive, pictures will be uploaded
  8. I took the supra to a dyno, have been curious since owning it what power they actually are. Mine has a cat back & induction kit, but otherwise is a stock Non-VVTI GE. Made healthy numbers imo
  9. Thought I updated this but obviously not, not long after getting the turbo I also bought an FMIC intake - it’s letting me upload pictures now too
  10. Turbo purchased, 5 inch inlet, 3inch outlet on the cold side - isn’t letting the picture upload for some reason
  11. Little update on the car, show season has started and the gf (unknowingly to me) applied for the car to be on autofinese’s stand at japfest and it got accepted and in my opinion the car really wasn’t up to it so the 2 weeks coming up to it me and the gf did the best we could to transform the car, I ordered some carbon fibre end caps for the spoiler so I wasn’t missing one, got a friend to fit a SpeedHunters sunstrip I ordered & lowered the front end a touch to get rid of the positive camber. The car then needed a proper detail / clean, but I didn’t fancy paying £500 so I borrowed a machine polisher from another friend. I used to be a pitch washer at a dealership and have hand polished cars but never really done proper machine polishing etc, and was a touch worried about burning through the paint but do have friends that are detailers and they pointed me in the right direction of what to use to avoid burning through etc. Started off washing the car down then a clay bar over the whole car, this is where we really felt the dirt in the paint and the sun damage, I don’t think the previous owner ever did any polishing of any sort so it’s been at least 17 years since this car has had anything like this, so once we’d finished with the clay bar I then did a few coats of Meguiar’s Ultimate Compound with the mop, once we were satisfied, we moved onto Meguiar’s Ultimate Polish for a couple of coats and finally a layer of Meguiar’s Wax by hand. When I first bought this car, a paint job was quite high on the priority list, however, that has dropped down the list significantly, it really is night & day… it used to sound like sand paper when you rubbed your hand across it, it was that bad… however now it’s a soft smooth finish. It probably isn’t to the standard of a £500 paint correction etc however, for a few weekends of me & my gf with a friend’s polisher, couldn’t be happier. It’s now at a presentable stage, still requires a full hit at some point, but boost is definitely more important at the moment. I got a photoshoot with a friend, see the pictures attached. Finally, I finished the exterior of the car off with a private plate
  12. I just hear mixed opinions everywhere, some claim flutter is fine, some claim it damages turbo, others say it’s fine under certain psi anything more should run one etc etc. Always mixed opinions on stuff I guess.
  13. Twin gate, single Bov, I was initially not going run one tbh, only bought it cause it was cheap, I want chatter so unsure what I’ll do tbf aha. I believe you can change the springs so it’ll only open past a certain boost level meaning I get chatter at low boost levels and it opens at high boost to help prolong the life of the turbo. Will see haha
  14. Also been buying some parts ready for turbo, picked up a Supralink G4X in the Black Friday sales, and also got a deal on some used parts, got 2x Tial 44mm wastegates aswell as a Tial BOV (not got any pics of this yet aha) - not sure why it’s uploaded some of the pictures upside down
  15. Not uploaded in a while, over Christmas I fitted the r154, see pics
