    Floor Mats ?

Anyone know the best place to purchase floor mats ? I bought some direct from Toyota 1 year ago, they cost £90 and already they are beginning to look very tired indeed !
  2. I know what you mean, I was thinking of killing 2 birds with 1 stone and simply getting a new 'Laptop-Dancer' instead !!
  3. I can't remember exactly where I bought my wheels from now (somewhere on the Internet) but try 19inch Rial "Le-Mans" 6 spoke alloys with 235/35/19's on the front and 265/35/19's on the rear - a year ago I paid under £1,500 for the lot including tyres.
  4. You could give Admiral a go, it was the cheapest by far for me, althoug I am over the hill at 31 and probably got some kind of "Sunday Drivers " discount ! Seriously though, give 'em a call.
  5. I know, but the crappy computer the bird's dad bought us doesn't allow me to transfer digital images to it ! Take my word for it though, it does look a lot better than the boring black grill covered in dead flies & small animals ...
  6. If anyone like me can't quite afford that Veilside front end yet, then try spraying that front grill silver. I've got a 93 NA in Black and although it took about 1.5 hours and a rain forest amount of newspaper, the end result was pretty damn good for a novice ! Give it a go, it's a lot cheaper and quicker than trying to replace it with new silver mesh. Just a thought .....
  7. sticky back plastic, some old toilet rolls and bonnie the dog are also an option (and here's one I prepared earlier!)
  8. I know I'm a " newbie " so I'd thought I would share my limited MKIV knowledge & experience. Anyway, if you are having trouble finding Insurance for your Jap Import model then try Admirral - I am 31, full no claims, living in the heart of Bristol and pay £600 a year Fully Comp & protected. Cheers.
  9. Just a little advice for you all - if you have an annoying rattle or knocking at the rear of your beast, then try either replacing the rubber stoppers either side of the boot, or try squirting some silicone sealant on them. Just a thought from past rear end noises ! ( doesn't work so well on the girlfriend though ! )
  10. Next Tuesday I will hopefully be getting new front seats fitted to my 1993 NA Aerotop ( JXA80 ). This being the case I need to sale the existing seats. Both are charcol colour ( velor not leather ) and the drivers side is electric. The passenger seat is immaculate and the drivers side is in good condition. ( no tears, rips, fag burns, semen anywhere ! ) Ideally I would like to sale them to someone who could collect in the Bristol area. Would anyone like to make me an offer ? ( bearing in mind I don't want to just give 'em away, so please be sensible ! )
  11. Best looking wheels for the MKIV Supra must be Rial " Le-Mans " 19 inch alloys. I purchased a set with 265/35/19 and 235/35/19 tyres for £1,450 ! Got to say I've never seen a better set of alloys on a MKIV. ( not boasting or anything ! )
  12. I have just purchased a Raceland Rear Muffler ( Blast IV ) at Japfest in Castlecoombe. It's got a 4.5 inch outer rim with a 2.5 inlet tip. I own a 1993 NA MKIV ( JZA80 ) and I need to know whether this should will fit relatively easy. I know, I should have looked into this before buying but size matters and I couldn't help myself !
  13. I own a 1993 MKIV NA Supra ( JZA80 ) and I've got a strange knocking noise on the front passenger side when I pull away slowly, go over a speed ramp slowly, or even once the car has stopped, ignition turned off, get out of the car and hear this strange sound ... I've been to Toyota on 3 occasions and they can't find any faults and the only thing they can suggest is a faulty front shock absober. When you are driving along normally you can't here a thing, it only seems to occur at very low speeds. Someone please help as it's driving me nuts !!
