  1. How do I go about pre-ordering the current RSR and do you want full payment now ?
  2. Have you got any in stock at the moment ? I'm off to Cancun on Sunday but wouldn't mind pre-ordering one for my return. By the way, am I right in saying that there will shortly be a new RSR on it's way, and if so do you know much about it at this stage ? Cheers Paul.
  3. The louder the better, and as for little girls, this may come in handy when I'm trying to get rid of the other half !!
  4. Did it fit as a direct bolt on as the Blitz NUR Spec R would do ? ( i.e. there was no need to extra piping, brackets etc ... )
  5. I have just been advised by Whifblitz that the RSR GT2 is not compatible with my J-Spec NA, only for TT - is this true ??? Surely not ......
  6. Thanks for the responses I'll get the gas topped up and use the air-con more frequently now. My Supe is currently in the garage getting some new front shocks fitted and they have kindly lent me a beautiful, red, rusty, no door panelled Astra GTE Convertible with a drain-pipe for an exhuast !! Do I like cool or what !!!!!!!!!!! ( may trade in the Supe now ! )
  7. Following the suprastore.com drama which resembled an episode of Eastenders due to it's depressing nature, and following the threads I have read about the RSR GT2 - I WANT ONE NOW ! Just 2 questions though :- 1. Is the RSR the same as the Blitz NUR Spec R in that it's a CAT back replacement. ( i.e. only replaces the 2nd CAT and muffler ) 2. Where's the quickest and cheapest place I can get one from ? ( it looks like a good price is roughly £450 ) Thankyou kindly.
  8. I fully agree with all your comments and you can be assured they are standard black washer jets - I'm not a complete fool you know !!! So what's the best way to install them ? p.s. how do you connect those neon wires as well !!!!!
  9. This may sound a silly question but so as not to cause myself any unecessary work, when replacing the windscreen washer jets can you simply clip the old ones off the bonnet direct, or do you have to remove part of the bonnet insulation to remove them ? You advices please kind sirs ....
  10. Ah ha .......... just did the diagnostic check again in the summer heat of the Bristol sun and now the " AUTO " button flashes. Would this suggest re-gassing is required ??? ( we'll get there eventually ! )
  11. Just started the car and let it warm up then put the air-con on full blast and ran the revs @ 2000 rpm for just over a minute. Looked at the sight glass and there was free-flowing liquid but it was frothing up a bit to the left side of the glass. The pipes coming off the sight glass unit were freezing cold as you would expect, but the car remained boiling hot ! Let me know what you think Terminator and hope you had a good booze cruise !
  12. Am I right in assuming the gas type is R134A and it needs roughly 750 grams ? ( for a J-Spec, 93, NA, JZA80 ) ...............
  13. .... same result shining a torch on the sensor. ( if this has any bearing, the climate control seems to work fine adjusting itself, just doesn't get very cold on a hot day. ) The saga continues ....... hopefully " Terminator " has the diagnostic answer.
  14. After I turned on the ignition all of the heater control lights flashed 3 times then on it's own the front windsreen heater control button ( far right of all the buttons ) started flashing constantly. What does this mean ????
  15. I had the front suspension bolts tightened and the " creak " is still there - just been under the bonnet with a local garage and he has listened to the off-side shock and the creak is definately the shock as it comes to rest. I've found a place on the web called, http://www.butpartsby.co.uk and they can supply front shocks for £56 a side including VAT and delivery for a J-Spec, NA, JZA80 - they are "KYB Gas-A-Just". Does anyone know any cheaper alternatives ? ( although I doubt it ! )
  16. Thanks everyone, I'll pop it down to my local air-con specialist and get them to take a peek. Enjoy the weekend
  17. I have read all the other threads on the subject of Air Con not being as cold as it should be and I have checked that the air con does in actual fact kick in with increased revs, and there is a free flow of gas in the sight window in front of the radiator. Could this still need re-gassing as in the current tropical temperatures the air con does not get very cold at all. ( I know I could just take the roof off but air con is nice sometimes ! ) Please help !:flame Dev
  18. I had a problem last year finding wheels to fit my Supe and eventually found a place called " Motion Styling " who sold me a set of Rial Le-Mans 19 inch alloys with 265/35/19's on the rear and 235/35/19's ( I think ! ) on the front - the whole set was just under £1,500. Haven't got any pics but try looking them up on the Net.
  19. I actually replaced mine just over 6 months ago and the annoying knocking has returned recently - so I assume you actually took the existing rubbers off ( so to speak ! ), placed some tape underneath then bolted them back on. Mine are currently covered in silicone, sponge and glue to try and stop the knocking - has stopped in slightly but not completely !
  20. Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just been to Toyota today and actually watched them tighten the suspension bolts to the correct torque settings - the lovely people charged me £38 for this privalege and the "creaking" noise is still there !!!!!!! Can anyone offer any other advice as Toyota can only suggest that the offside front shock is knackered and needs replacing - not too worried about getting the shocks replaced as I can get them for £56 a piece, but I really need to know whether or not this will cure the damn creaking !! Please help !
  21. Thanks everyone for your useful advice - the car is off to the garage on Thursday for new seats so I'll ask for those little rascal's to be tightened up !! Cheers:)
  22. Does anyone out there know where I can get my hands on a set of front shocks for my J-Spec 93 NA JZA80 ? I have a strange knocking at the front off-side and it only happens at low speed - been to my lovely Toyota dealer 3 times now and they can't find any problems and suggest best to replace the front shocks. Obviously I would have to re-mortgage to afford these direct from Toyota so I was wondering if anyone has any cheaper options ? I've currently got a set of new front sets and a Blitz NUR Spec R sat in the living room waiting for fitting so a cheap option would be greatly appreciated !
  23. I am in desperate need of a decent exhaust and being a bit of a girl when it comes to technical thingy-me-gigs I am unsure as to which exhaust to go for. I have a 1993 NA Aerotop J-Spec JZA80 and I am being drawn towards a Blitz Nur Spec R. Is this better / equivalent to say a HKS Super Dragger 2 cat back ? Are there other viable ( cheaper ! ) options ?
  24. Have you tried Protech in Nailsea ? They specialize in Jap Imports especially Supra's.
  25. Kitt

    Floor Mats ?

Thanks for all the replies, I'll stick to wearing high heels at the weekend only !
