Thelast time a bloke "got his sack out for some kids" he got locked away lol

Comon...there must be some more of us northern folk that fancy doing this.

My head gasket need replacing. I thought I may as well upgrade and was wondering if anyone could recommend a make / type. I dont want to change the compression ration so it would need to be same thickness as stock one. Im was also thinking of replace the head bolts with ARP studs, is this a straight forward "swap".

Ive got a serial lead (bought it the same time as the AT sensor ) But I dont have the car atm. Its with the bloke thats trying to sort my problems. I also dont have a laptop (and my pc is too heavy to get close to the car LOL) I originally took the car in because of 2 problems.... 1. The EGT gauge flashed a warning light up at 900 C (normally it never got above 850 C), so immediately thought it was running lean. 2. In slow moving traffic the car was "reluctant to get going" under low throttle pressure .... like hesitated before it made its mind up to start accelerating, again making me think there was problems with fueling. It seemed sensible to assume these were a common fault and linked with each other. Both of these made me wonder if any sensors were out or if a diagnostic check was needed. So I took it into a local guy I knew of that has had dealing with "modded motors".

Dont have them Terry, Pete at Thor has the originals when he fitted / set up for Darrell. Being new to the Supra / tuning game I didnt know that Id need them when I first bought the car. The bloke thats looking at my car atm downloaded the standard maps from PHR site. He's gonner check into the ECU and possibly the "wiring".

Ok eventually got the AT sensor delivered from the US and fitted only to find that its not the problem . What the chances of the ECU being buggered, do these go wrong often or is it more likely just a "retune" required on a RR? Cheers Dale

Now then...any of you clever techies tell me about high stall TC's and what differences the stall limits make to the way a car "operates / pulls away" etc. What benefits are a 4000rpm over a 3800rpm (or visa versa) Ta Dale

Just to add to this one.... coming out the the car and finding a f*cking cat has walked over my bonnet, roof and tailgate leaving muddy prints. (thinking about it....thats worse than my wifes toothpaste tube thingy)

Ive tried Toyota...they dont do them, even dealers cant get hold of them, everything is computer based.
