  2. oops ... http://www.takakaira.com/aerokits/aerokitindex.php3?sideon=sidemenu.php3?cat=3
  3. The rear bumper looks a little like this :
  4. Unfortunately I dont know anyone with a digi-camera or scanner just now. I will be going to the meet this Saturday ... providing my window is sorted by the alarm installer in time. The rear panel has .. what I can only describe as .. air intake channel with wire mesh. I guess the front is part of the same kit. The bonnet is carbon fibre and has a air vent rather than intake ... if you know what I mean. Thanks for the links I hope to find it on these ... cheers.
  5. I have been blessed and cursed with a unique rear and front bumper\skirts. Does anybody have any details (preferably websites) on companies that deal and fit skirts ? Hopefully I can find someone with this assembly should i need it. And that I don't hope for.
  6. Well I didn't install them, but as they are not standard (someone is going to put me right here) I would imagine that there is no available space, so as a result my guess would be that they are internal to the mirror. They are so cool ! You could always get a hair dryer to plug into the ligher port, to heat up those mirrors !
  7. Mine's an RZ but the previous owner liked his gadgets (Japs for you) so I can imagine that the folding mirrors where upgraded.
  8. I agree that having no heated mirrors can be a pain in the ars*, but the folding mirros are so cool !!! I have mine connected to my alarm system, and when activated they fold in ! I love it. I would say if you fancy running the risk of some kids smashing them off on a walk by or some motor completly destroying them then keep the mirrors warm. Ok .. so I have to keep a sponge and credit card in my pocket.
  9. Oh and yes ... it stalls for a few seconds and when the lights disengage the power is returned.
  10. Yes the boost controller. And yes ... it scared the crap out of me !! There is a boost gauge but not taken a reading just yet. I am a little nervous in re-creating the event to take the reading after your note that engine damage can be caused ! I am not totally sure of all upgrades as some are not typically visible, so I plan to pop down to TDI in Barking to ask them to examine and test the machine. Thanks for the information ! I'll pass that onto the dealer.
  11. Yes .. sorry bad spelling. It's a HKS controller. Yet I am not sure if this is the cause, only that I was reading about the VVC and there was a chance of overboosting and thought that this was a possible cause. Unfortunatly it came with no instructions. Any ideas ?
  12. I have just purchased a 94 TT with a number of performance enhancements, one of which is a Variable Value Controller. On a number of occasions I have had trouble with engine stalling. This normally occurs when reaching ... shall we say ... higher speeds. Firslt the engine stalls leaving no power from the accelerator until the warning lights deactivate. The main warning light comes on to show the engine light on the right light cluster. At the moment I am thinking that it could be the VVC overboosting, but I am not mechanical minded. Anybody have this problem or know what it could be ? Thanks for your help in advance.
