  1. My sister had one, it ended up blowing a cylinder head gasket which I replaced. My brother had a 3500 V8 and my dad had a 2600 straight six , I remember Tom Walkinshaw racing them.

    present????

A plastic bag! It's impossible to say as we don't know what you're interested in other than the Supra.
  3. It does sound that like that. Here's something very helpful, do a search. This topic has been discussed many many times.
  4. Have a look in this thread and do a search for "UK spec brakes". http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=154651
  5. The V8 Jags can suffer from the widely known nikasil bore linining problems(some BMW's too ), they can wear away excessively. It might be worth doing a little research.
  6. This is the most comprehensive vvti ecu pinouts that I've got. Any good? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=60358&d=1183900072
  7. The late jags were supposed to be very good according to the surveys that they do but an 2002 car may be a little early. Personally I wouldn't be concerned too much about reliability with either car if you buy one that's been looked after.
  8. It's so sad to hear this terrible news, just a young lad at 21. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
  9. Not in terms of torque though, it will be very quick in mid range acceleration for overtaking.
  10. I'm wondering if the rescue centre could've done more. Surely a member of the public looking for a dog would've given her a home after realising how long she had been there, I know that I would've.
  11. Do you understand how to do equations like this, as obviously the answer isn't always helpful if you don't understand the methods involved?
  12. No crumple zone then. I'm struggling to think of a short youtube video.
  13. I've got 19" Volk GTC's fitted to mine. Front 19x8.5 , offset +39, Face 1, Disc A Rear 19x9.5 , offset +37, Face 2, Disc B If you have a look on the MVP Motorsport website it looks like the Face 2 wheels might fit on the front also. http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Templates/frmTemplateM7.asp?SubFolderID=2107&SearchYN=N
  14. I've heard that they haven't got a particularly good record for reliability, too much electrical stuff that can go wrong.
  15. I used a couple of metres of clear plastic tubing which you can get from the hardware section of B & Q. Stick one end in the filler hole and attach a funnel to the other end and fill it up from the side of the car. You shouldn't have much left from 2 litres and like Chris said it should be level with the bottom of the filler hole. It might be worth checking that you can loosen the filler hole plug first before you drain it out from the bottom hole.
  16. Sounds like my van turbo, excessive wear. Isn't the reason that you don't think it smokes on boost only because you cannot see the smoke when travelling at speed?
  17. The negative pressure is normal as the engine is sucking the air in when it's at idle, when the turbo's are in action this will change to a positive pressure as the air is forced into the engine by the turbo's.
  18. What a lucky man, to discover a relic of the Nazis regime in the back garden would be fantastic.
