  1. Probably valve stem oil seals, a search on here will reveal costs involved. Yes, the manual gearbox is well known for being a little clunky.
  2. What a shame, it looks really nice in the photo's. A long post you made there, but I read every bit of it. Well done for using paragraphs and punctuation which makes it easy to read. We went to look at a Rover SD1 over twenty years ago, it was described as immaculate. Someone had taken a massive chunk out of the dashboard with what looked like a chainsaw,we didn't even bother knocking on the door.
  3. There's loads of room under the passenger side headlight but very little under the drivers side, just enough room for my ballast which wasn't as big as some. You could fit it behind the headlight but that's only possible if the cables are long enough. Best to take the headlights out and have a look.
  4. What an idiot, fool, moron etc. Like Jake and Havard have said, what about the pug owner? He should be reported for dangerous/careless driving.
  5. I can't get the EPC to recognise the part number either.
  6. Sounds like he's tested for a voltage where the cable goes into the bulb holder though.
  7. Did you unplug the cable from something, what about following it to see where it goes to?
  8. Hello. Yes, it's the best Supra forum by far.
  9. Obviously they're not the same as the original. I'm not aware of anyone on here using the new version.
  10. I'm bored again so I found it for you, the pics have gone though. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=31633

    bonnet size

mm is better, cm's for me would only be used at school.
  12. It's a pity they hadn't decided to fit reliable German V8's or Corvette V8's like some of the other small companies do.
  13. Most of the time I don't speak to the neighbours, the woman next door is a little mentally retarded (genuine condition) and her brother isn't much better. We don't see the neighbours the other way very often as the hedge is quite high. I wouldn't start the car during the hours when it may disturb anyone though. The neighbours a few doors away did give me some funny looks after I fitted the Nur Spec.
  14. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/products/products/218223/mini_compressor_test.html My Halfords one is still working okay and I use it to pump a slow puncture on the van up to 60 psi, it's slightly older than the one in the test though.

    supra cambelt

Hello There's nothing difficult about changing the cambelt on the Supra, prices vary. Are you near to Envy Performance who're traders on here, they'll change it for you. Envy Performance Ltd 30 Barrington Rd Bedlington Northumberland NE22 7AJ http://www.mkiv.com/manual/manualtt/timing_belt_replacement/index.html There's nothing really to look out for on the car but you may wonder what the red button is for if you've got an auto. 16. Lamborghini Grigio Avlon
  17. Stock Toyota Gunmetal, code is 6N0. I don't think this is stock gunmetal, but it's very very very nice. Lamborghini Grigio Avlon

    Hello all

    Yes, very reliable.
  19. When I see a lot of cars painted non stock colours I think it ages them. So I would go for RSP blue or Gunmetal, then your car will look like a late model Supra and will be an original colour with a modern look.
  20. There's a pdf file at the bottom and other fitment information but some of it's in Japanese.
  21. I'm not sure if all VVTI TT's came with uk spec brakes, I've got a feeling that cars of this sort of age came with uk spec brakes as standard. Don't forget you can get VVTI NA Supra's aswell, they aren't common at all though. You better ask the seller.
