  1. The dash looks really nice. Sensible colour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. lol I didn't realise he made a habit of it, a search revealed that this is the sixth time.
  3. The other one if for my brother and his Corvette. Apparently they've been available at Lidl for the last couple of years, I'm sure you'll find them in one of your local stores. Unfortunately not, I'm going to see if I can buy a waterproof two pin plug and fit it somewhere on the car so I don't have to open the bonnet every time I want to disconnect the charger. The car is always on the drive as I don't have a garage so I also need to figure out where I'm going to locate the charger.

  5. I fitted new ones when I put the new wheels on, I always torque them up. I don't let anyone else remove and refit a wheel if I get a tyre fitted. I always remove it myself and take it to the tyre place in another car.
  6. You've some absolutely immaculate car over there. Any pics of Curt Aigner the parts guy at Elmhurst Toyota?
  7. lol This one that johnny g made me laugh.
  8. That's true, I've never seen so many drivers blatantly going through the lights when they shouldn't. You don't know why there is an amber light? The "not safe to do so" bit which I didn't mention in my earlier post but Class One pointed out is obvious, isn't it? Amber isn't quite the same as red.
  9. Quite a few on here just put one cat on and they pass, the second one is much easier to put put back on than the first. I put both back on to make sure, I have the philosophy that I may aswell do both when the car is raised up and I have the tools out.

    bump steer etc

Yes, I would check these first. Part of the regular mainenance schedule includes checking the sub frame bolts. http://www.mkiv.com/manual/manualtt/general_maintenance/mo14.jpg
  11. You do realise that a solid amber light means stop?
  12. I must've looked at literally thousands of photo's of Supra's. Car Domain Australasia Supra Forum US Supra Forum
  13. . . I've been wanting to buy a maintenance charger for the car battery as the car doesn't get used much this time of year. I was just going to order the well known recommended Ctek XS 3600 charger which costs £50 My brother did a little research on the net and he found people recommmending one from Lidl - Tronic T4X - made in Germany. The specifications are the same as the Ctek, it even has exactly the same 7 led's and mode button on the front. The instructions are more or less the same, just worded differently. It's only£12.99 at Lidl , I bought two this morning. . . . http://www.kompernass.com/pages/_pdfs/2d65416458600abac0338a69f9774531.pdf http://www.ctek.com/Manuals/XS3600_en.pdf . . .
  14. I'm pleased I had a browse through that, post 231 made all worthwhile. http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showpost.php?p=242076471&postcount=231 Most female members won't be interested.
  15. What a horror, this pic say's it all. http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/3923/donotwantis3.jpg
  16. I find just socks for around the house is more comfortable, slippers for working on the car and tinkering in the hut etc, easier to put on and off than shoes. I've just ordered some slippers from M & S.
  17. H & R are well known. http://www.performancealloys.com/alloy_wheel_spacers.asp http://www.hrsprings.com/products/trak/ Should of got the correct fitting in the first place blah blah blah. I definately wouldn't buy any where you don't know the manufacturer, safety first!
  18. Lovely cars. Unfortunately I think Radio 2 will have some listeners who are seriously loaded and most of us average people wouldn't stand a chance of making the highest bid. Nice to see the proceeds going to a good cause though.
  19. You would rather have 3 points on your license for 4 years?
  20. lol I can't help directly, if you don't get any replies in this thread you might find what you're looking for if you have a good search through previous threads as I recall the same questions being asked before.

    Photo to Canvas

Good idea for a Christmas present. http://www.tescophoto.com/wpp/tesco/buyart_main.jsp
  22. It's never fair for us that live up north, I would have to travel 270 miles.
  23. Silly me, for some reason I thought it was because they liked the look of a nice new shiny steering wheel, am I wrong ? One person up against a major manufacturer like Toyota and they think they know best, it's laughable! . .
  24. I'm not trying to be funny but what goes through your mind when you're removing the airbag, are you going to tell the insurance company? More than likely the Momo steering wheel if you have a big crash.
  25. Without any doubt at all, be careful. Those tyres are very wide, much wider than the average used on here and with a low sidewall too!
