  1. TBH the practice sessions this morning were very boring indeed, I just fast forwarded through most of them. No Martin Brundle this morning.
  2. Have a look on here. The chassis numbers are there aswell showing the production dates etc. Engine Tag Information
  3. It was on channel 302 freeview, no need to press the red button.
  4. Looks like it's a bleed valve. http://turborevs.org.uk/Boost%20Controller.htm
  5. They've got some lovely clean cars over there. Huge turbo. .

    boost

There isn't a simple answer to that question. It's obviously dependent on what turbo's you have fitted along with all the associated parts and how it's set up and tuned etc etc.
  7. I've never seen a bike with that much carbon before. How's it standing up by itself?
  8. Some say that the bbc's red button is actually on channels 301 and 302 if you've got freeview. But I've just had a look and there's nothing listed for the early hours on Friday, this might change. I flicked through the channels and 105 is shown as being the bbc red button but again there's no programmes shown on the schedule.
  9. You don't look skinny. Get yourself some creatine.
  10. Not that I doubt you at all, but the EPC does confirm this.
  11. Yes, I got that wrong. I'm looking forward to the practice on Friday, with there being no normal testing allowed during the season they'll be testing what they can on a Friday and Saturday which will should give us an idea of their true pace. It will be nice to see Williams do well again but it's a pity they haven't got a British driver. I hope the Brawn car is up at the front for Button and Barrichello who is such a nice bloke.
  12. Apparently there's going to be a protest lodged against the Brawn, Toyota and Williams rear diffuser. BMW Sauber, Ferrari, Red Bull and Renault will be making the protest.
  13. I didn't know that, I thought the online and paper manuals were the same.
  14. Unfortunately all the workshop manuals appear to be for the TT Supra. I can't imagine you having any problems if you're doing it with your mechanic father in law.
  15. Tell him to get a higher resolution camera for next time, infra red etc.
  16. I couldn't stand the woman. But some of the remarks made on here are so cold and callous, anyone would of thought she had been a serial murderer. Infact she was totally harmless, her main fault being stupidity, having a loud mouth with an outgoing personality. All I can think of now is a 27 year old young woman who was stricken with one of the most feared diseases, cancer. God only knows how she suffered towards the end. In my opinion it's something that isn't particularly humerous that you can laugh and joke about. How many wives, girlfriends and sisters may now benefit from this raised awareness?
  17. You can get Toyo R888 .... 335/30 18.... £285 each Kumho 335/30 's are cheaper.
  18. Will you be fitting the gauge, if you are the length will obviously depend on where you're going to mount the gauge? You''l need a T piece for plumbing it in to the existing vacuum hose.
  19. Why do you want them that wide, are you sure they'll fit?
  20. Top it up to the bottom of the filler plug hole, the car obviously needs to be level. Personally I would drain it and put new oil in like jimojameso has already said.
  21. I cannot imagine there's going to be much difference between the two. If you would be prepared to do it on a 6 speed gearbox then you shouldn't have any worries about doing it with the 5 speed box. Have a read of the manual for the 6 speed gearbox to see if you're going to be competent enough. Obviously you'll need to lift the car up high enough so you can slide the gearbox away from the engine to be able to get access to the clutch. In the past I've just fabricated a cradle which I bolt to the trolley jack which can be used for manouevering the gearbox. online manual
