  2. It tells you on the vin plate which gearbox you have. Mine is:...... Trans/Axle...... V161....AO3B . . A typical vin plate. You could always jack the rear up and turn the engine over by hand to check the gearbox/diff ratios.
  3. According to my epc the sensor is the same. I can't see the harness on my epc, have a look on the online epc. I can't imagine them being any different on the vvti. http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/

  5. I disagree. It's not just about how much power you've got.
  6. £60,000 is a lot of money for a car that doesn't look nice at all.

    oh yes

Chelsea should've definately got a penalty. I'll be wanting Man U to win for once.
  8. I managed to get a large plate made up at a local place. Halfords also said they could get a large plate done for me at a local supplier.
  9. Maybe it's to maintain a user adjustable warning level for the gauge. A good source of power is at the radio power supply, yellow is permanent , red is ignition power.
  10. Am I doing anything wrong here? The first link started a file download which is very slow. The other links open a window momentarily which immediately close.
  11. Excellent, I had a look on the Maplin site but i didn't see those. Thanks very much.
  12. Yes. 16" on the SZ up until May 96 17" to fit over the larger brakes.
  13. Of course, it's the tyre diameter that matters and not the wheel.
  14. I've got a 50 litre 2hp airmaster compressor which does the job, not really suitable for spraying a full car in one go but fine for spraying individual panels. The actual flow rate you can get is not always what the manufacturers specify.
  15. Can someone identity this cable please, it's out of my cctv dvr recorder? It's just like an ide hard drive cable but it only has 20 pins. I've been seaching for the last 3 hours and I cannot find one anywhere. Both ends are the same, 150 mm in length. Thanks
  16. I know. To hold he track rod end if one spanner is slipping, try using 2 spanners together or an adjustable spanner adjusted tightly. Because the adjustable spanner is wider then a normal spanner it's less likely to slip off. It might be 13 mm like Tricky-Ricky has suggested. Locking adjustable spanners are useful.
  17. I didn't realise that it only went on in one position and couldn't be be adjusted a little. Why does the workshop manual say for removal "Place matchmarks on the wheel and main shaft" ?
  18. No he didn't, I can read. He said that the wheel wasn't aligned correctly. Tell me why you can't remove the wheel and line it up properly?
  19. Jake is right, you shouldn't have to do this. If you want to do it yourself, why don't you remove the steering wheel and line it up properly - better than working underneath the car.
  20. McGard 25357 Tuner wheel locks were narrow enough for my Volks. But the nut seat on my Volk GTC's wasn't deep enough to allow the nuts to be screwed on far enough. (can you see on this pic) They might fit yours though.
