  1. Quite bad, so don't watch if you're squeamish. Moral of the story, don't play with electricity!!! Click . .
  2. That's incorrect, it will work. FIRST CABLE Yellow is video, white is audio. There doesn't look like that here is an audio input on the Quad. The first one you need is a phono plug to bnc plug, you can buy a cable with one of these on each end. Maplins Ebay OR If the cable on your camera is long enough to reach the quad box you can just buy the adapter without the cable. Maplins Ebay SECOND PICTURE The second pic shows a 4 pole plug ,where does that come from and go to as it's not exactly what you would expect to find on a cctv system, is the plug on the other end exactly the same? It's common for camcorders to have these as they will have sound (stereo) and video, but your quad box doesn't look like it has an input for sound. If the cable in the picture has the same plug on the other end you can replace it with one of these. Ebay Connect the yellow plug to one of these for your video connection to the Quad. Ebay THIRD CABLE You need a BNC plug to BNC plug. Ebay with cable OR if the cable is already long enough. Ebay Maplins
  3. Very sad indeed especially so when young people and children die.
  4. Nice pooch, labradors are lovely dogs.
  5. On the right hand part where the bumper is secured to the car, is there a mounting point on the bumper but it's just that it doesn't line up with the bracket on the car. If so I would be inclined to modify the steel bracket on the car (adding a piece on which can be removed later if necessary) rather than start messing around with fibreglass on the bumper. I couldn't see a mounting point on the bumper in the video which makes it more difficult in deciding what's best. Again it's not easy deciding what's best with the bumper lining up on the left wheel arch without seeing how it fits elsewhere.
  6. I've got a Blitz Nur Spec R, a very nice quality fairly loud exhaust, if you want it to be quieter for a long journey etc you can put in the baffle which only takes a few seconds.
  7. I'll give you an example which is so so simple. A search team looking for a crashed plane were allocated a search area of 100 square miles. If the area was in the shape of a square box then the length of each side would be equal to the square root of 100 = 10 miles.
  8. It obviously depends on the condition of the threaded shaft. Are the threads on the end shaft of the shaft okay, if so you could just use a new nut if the threads further down aren't too bad as you could use the nut by tightening/loosening to clean up the threads. It would be better to use a thread cutting die to clean up the threads but again the threads on the end of the shaft have to be okay to get the die started on the correct thread, only possible though if the damage further down isn't too bad. You should be able to buy a secondhand shaft fairly cheaply as there cannot be much demand for them at all. Post up a good pic if you can.
  9. The internet is wasted on you. They won't fit. http://www.alloywheelsinternational.com/WHEELFITMENTGUIDE1.html
  10. Can't you just have a look a what is supposed to push the ball bearing in when you select reverse?
  11. lol That's exactly what I've always thought.
  12. Front piston diameter..=..42.8mm Rear piston diameter..=.. 40.4mm Obtained from http://www.brakediscs.org.uk/company.html The pad backplate dimensions are available too with a picture of the pads but I'm not sure if the pad area will be identical between different makes. .
  13. Sounds familiar. Definately worth a look at 2k especially if it's a manual. I would be doing a few checks on it incase it's had major accident damage in the past etc.
  14. Beaten to it. Are you aware of the online parts catalogue and other stuff? http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/
  15. Down to 9th. Hopefully the Mclaren's will improve in the next few races.
  16. Sorry, I didn't even see your post. Sullyd sent me a pm the same night asking if they were still for sale and I said they were. But because you posted 48 minutes before he sent me the pm I think it's only fair that you should have first refusal. I'll send him a pm to appologise. Is paypal okay? .
  17. Sheffield should've got a penalty, another hopeless referee.
  18. I removed the bulbs and used a hot air gun (move the heat around so you don't melt it) on the lense to evaporate the condensation out of the headlamp.
  19. I think that's a good price for secondhand skirts but it obviously depends on the crack too, damage in the wrong place can be difficult to repair.
  20. If you're wanting one for a facelift car - right blanking plate then neither are correct. 55538-14030... is the one. Best to wait for confirmation first though before you order one. I'll be interested to see if you can get one for the facelift dashboard because I ordered one a couple of years ago and a pre-facelift one was sent to the dealer instead, they said it was the only type available.
  21. Yes, it started off okay but I was struggling to remain conscious for the rest. It must be great intially to watch as a spectator at Monaco but the race is generally very boring.
