  1. I'm sure most motoring journalists would go for the Mondeo, they're very highly rated.
  2. Yes, a good chance of picking up some points if Sutil can keep the car on the track in the rain.
  3. The Brawn cars are the lightest on the grid, the Mclarens are running relatively low fuel too. Anything could happen if it does rain as expected. 1. Mark Webber, Red Bull, 661kg 2. 4. Far too young to die. A major British assault against the Taliban in Helmand ahead of next month's Afghan elections is responsible. I hope the families receive a decent amount of compensation, not that any amount of money will ever be enough to offset such a painful loss.
  5. When someone is in such a massively depressive state it can be the only way out for them, one of my brother's suffers really badly from depression and he's tried everything possible to overcome this without success. More than likely but it won't necessarily make you feel any better knowing that.

    Interview today

    That's great, anything interesting?
  7. It's not the only thing that you can't do.
  8. Supraforums official rims thread Red Supra's on Supraforums
  9. You actually phone an insurance company up to find out the cost when you're thinking about buying a particular car? Get on the internet and get some quotes, use the comparison sites like Compare The Market etc along with the companies direct. Search the obvious places to see how much the cars are going for. For example Marks and Spencer, B & Q, The Pizza Hut, Ikea etc.
  10. I find it difficult to understand why the FIA are trying to introduce a ridiculously low budget cap which the majority of teams don't want to adhere too, something more realistic and they might listen. You may aswell just have one manufacturer to produce all the of cars like they do in other levels of motoring racing.
  11. No sense at all. Have you asked if they'll match your cheaper quote? I switched from Sky to Admiral, no fixed value for the car but I don't leave the car in vulnerable places and the insurance was much cheaper. I got the quote from Compare The Market, much cheaper for me than the other companies that can give you multiple quotes from different insurers.
  12. Go into "Edit" then "Go Advanced" to change it.
  13. From Newcastle? What exactly will it look like from planet Earth?
  14. It only looks like it passes over the UK in the far south, I'm too far north.
  15. My red van is a solid colour, when you polish it the colour comes off onto the cloth. Solid colour is very common on commercial vehicles. Nearly all cars nowadays have a lacquer over the base colour, when you polish it the colour won't appear on the cloth as it is under the lacquer.
  16. Tonight at 7.30. I think I'll have something to eat before it starts. This week Bear is on the west coast of Ireland (I know, he's usually somewhere more exotic, with jungles and snakes and stuff, but Bear can make a spectacle of himself anywhere), clambering up steep cliffs and through boggy moors. It's an excellent episode, with a menu that is scary even by Bear's standards: maggots scooped from the eye sockets of a decomposing seal are used to flavour a soup of crushed mussels and seaweed, all of which is filtered through a sock. I know, your mouth's watering already. Then Bear spots a dead sheep in a peat bog. "The eyeballs are still in!" he observes - a good sign, apparently. There follows a wonderful scene in which he wades into the bog to fetch the carcass, gets into trouble and becomes perhaps the first presenter to be savaged by a dead sheep on television. When he emerges victorious, he celebrates by skinning the sheep and taking a bite out of its still warm heart. The fleece becomes a sleeping bag (or "sheeping bag") and a flotation device to be used for swimming across a loch. As he strips to his boxers (any excuse), Bear is concerned about the swim: "Man," he tells us, "this is going to be chilly perkins." And it is.
  17. He's a complete nutter making comments like that. I don't think control at any cost is the right way to lead your own country.
  18. I've got Virgin now and I'm going to change soon as the coverage isn't very good at all when you're out of the urban areas and into the countryside.
  19. Nearly always straightforward but a few of us have had problems. If the pipe coming from the tank to the filter has been overtightened at the factory it will be difficult as the pipe flares out in the filter making it impossible to remove , this has happened on other Toyota models too.
  20. Okay, I follow. Just buy a standard replacement olive that matches the old one. What's the diameter of the pipe? B & Q sell 8,10,12 and 15 mm olives.
  21. I might have misunderstood but are you trying to put the old nut over the end of the new pipe as shown in the pic and down past the olive? The new pipe at the end should have the nut fitted first and then the olive. Is the new olive compressed tightly onto the pipe or can you slide it off?
