  2. Just wait if it's being sent to your address and the tracking info will say it's left customs and on it's way to you, you may or may not have to pay duty but they'll be in touch. That's what I always thought but last time when I received my car cover from the states it was delivered before I was sent the bill for the import duty.
  3. I bought the diy kit, it did work to some extent but it's not that cold. I'll take it somewhere next time.
  4. He did watch the game, they showed him on the tv. He enjoyed Shearer scoring the penalty near the end which was nice to see. It's hard to belief that he's finally gone.
  5. The poor thing. I wish I could help, I can imagine a decision like this would be so difficult. Is he very old? I would probably just ask the vet what they thought would be the right thing to do as they're obviously in the best position after examining your dog, it would be wrong to treat every dog the same when they're inflicted with this cancer. I'm sure just like any owner you wouldn't want to see him suffer at all so I would just ask the vet for their honest opinion.
  6. I think they should let him have a go of the 2009 car, the new regulations should allow a stand in driver to have some time behind the wheel before a race weekend but I suppose Ferrari could sneakily use the opportunity to test some new parts.
  7. Very sad indeed, even when it was expected it's so horrible to hear the news. He didn't look very well when he was at the charity match on Sunday.
  8. The motor is normally okay, but it's common for the cable to snap. You need to buy the regulator sub assembly, the motor is the black part on the right which you don't need. Part number 69801-14111 regulator sub assembly right hand
  9. Use some car polish and wax/sealer etc, don't use anything too abrasive as you won't know how thick the finish is and you don't want to rub through.
  10. Schumacher won't be able to drive the car around a track until the race weekend but I cannot imagine it will take him very long to get the hang of it again. I would be very surprised if the Ferrari even driven by him would be a match for the top runners.
  11. Thanks for the offer. There's enough room to just replace them with a wire link so I'll just do that.
  12. Yes, thanks. lol I've just been editing my previous post after I read that on Wikipedia after doing another search.
  13. Thanks for the reply It is the same footprint size but the tracks on the pcb for these resistors actually deviate completely from the standard layout to incorporate them, obviously they could be using the same pcb on another product with different components. Edit. Just found this after another search. Looks like it's used because the same automated equipment used to place other resistors can be used instead of requiring a separate machine to install a jumper or other wire.
  14. I'm a little confused. I need a little helping identifying a component on a circuit board which I'm going to replace the parts as it's on it's way out. It's for a cctv camera which has it's own 24 infra red leds on a simple circuit board, there's one component which I think I've identified as a smd resistor or chip resistor. Here's a pic They use a different code to the standard colour bars for the resistor value, this one has the code "0 0 0". After a search I've found that "000" denotes a "jumper type" which has a resistance of "zero ohms". I just cannot understand the point of having a resistor that is zero ohms. Thanks for any help
  15. They're sometimes known as a "Block Tester". I got mine off ebay. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m38.l1313&_nkw=universal+block+tester&_sacat=See-All-Categories

    VW Transporter

Your first post on a Supra forum! Took me about 10 seconds on Google. http://tinyurl.com/kvcsvb http://www.kiravanwindows.co.uk/?gclid=CPD1kLLN-JsCFZ0U4wodG1b7_w http://209.85.229.132/search?q=cache:R2OQAsDaAqkJ:www.vanworx.co.uk/interior/+vw+transporter+windows&cd=3&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk
  17. I couldn't agree more. They look like you've had a front end bump, fitted a fibreglass bonnet and didn't have the money or couldn't be bothered to spray it to match the rest of the car.
  18. That's what he must mean I would think. I can't even remember if I hear the rush of air on mine as it's not the only vehicle I drive.

    loom

The answer depends on which wiring harness you're talking about. Some are the same and some are different. The main engine loom for a TT Supra or the NA Supra are the same regardless of whether it's a manual or auto. For the TT there are 4 different wiring looms available pre vvti for the TT depending on when it was manufactured ( I don't know the difference) . Have a look on the online parts catalogue. http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/

    supra spec's

Yes, some good stuff. It's been in my favourites list for a few years now.
  21. Galvanic corrosion, it's one of the few things that I remember from twenty years ago when I studied such things.
  22. Backwards. The two Mclarens are going to mug him at the first corner.

    New XJ

I like all of it apart from the rear end. I'm always amazed at how millions are spent by huge manufacturers designing cars like this and almost eveyones first impression is "I don't like the rear end". Why on earth couldn't they avoid this happening and make it look nice like the rest of the car? They made the same mistake with the latest Mondeo. http://allcarsreview.com/wp-content/uploads/81557.jpg
