Totally meaningless if it's not related to mileage and how old the car is when it gets an mot test. In a particular year you could be comparing a car that is 3 years old and gets it's first mot against another car that's been around for say 10 years and consequently there'll be many more older cars on the road with higher mileages.

He's never had a chance to give it a go with the snow up north, he can't even get out on the winter bike, he's pulling his hair out with boredom as he retired early just recently. lol They do some very nice bikes nowadays, I bought my first frame from Ribble 20 years ago. I'm sure yours will be a dream to ride.

If the box wasn't opened when it left the shop then it's obviously impossible to establish when it was broken and who's responsible, I would expect them to replace it.
